Today was the day I was getting married, in a wedding gown. I sighed looking into the mirror while Sheba stood at the door.
"You really love those kids don't you?" Sheba asked me with a smile.
"Yeah" I nodded turning to her "I just couldn't say no again" I rubbed the back of my neck.
The bunny children had begged me to wear a dress for the wedding all week and I finally gave in. I let them pick it out as Well. So here I am standing in a long white dress with a blue bow on the back.
"You never can feel" she laughed a little at me.
"Shut up" I mumbled, yet I couldn't help but smile.
"You do look good in dresses" she admitted looking me up and down.
"Guess it helps that I gained more weight" I added, remembering how strict Oswald was about my eating habits after we started dating.
"Yeah" Sheba nodded in agreement before perking her ears.
"Were up feel" she gave me a soft smile.
I nodded suddenly feeling very nervous about it all.
She connected our arms as we began to walk towards the doors. I could already see everyone as we approached. My breathing hitched and I felt lightheaded for a moment before I got up there with him. He must have seen that I was nervous.
"Calm down feel" he whispered with a smile.
I nodded and took a deep breath calming myself.
After hearing all the normal things that you hear at weddings we were given what we were waiting for.
"Do you Oswald lucky-rabbit take felix the cat to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do you part." The prist asked Oswald which caused me to hold my breath
"I do" oswald replied squeezing my hands a little.
"And do you Felix the cat take Oswald lucky-rabbit to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?" The priest turned to ask me.
"I do" I managed to say while looking up into Oswald's ocean blue eyes.
"Then by the power vested in god I now pronounce you man and husband, you may kiss the groom" the priest closed his book.
Oswald was quickly to kiss me and dip me. I kissed back lovingly while blushing.
In the background I heard the audience cheer. We pulled away and smiled at everyone.
I drifted my gaze across the crowed till I came across the empty seat in the front row. In it sat a slight outline of the beautiful ortensia. I found myself staring at her and she must have seen cause she smiled.
"Thank you feel, thank you for making him happy" she whispered to me, and though the crowd was loud I heard her loud and clear.
I smiled at her softly and gave a slight nod.
"Your welcome"I whispered under my breath.
I looked over at Oswald, my husband now. The thought made me quickly turn back to the seat, she was still there.
"Your husband" I mumbled under my breath.
She shook her head no and smiled at me again.
"Your husband now" she whispered before disappearing.
I quickly went over it in my head and figured out what she meant.
"My husband..." I smiled softly
"Mine" I looked up at him.
