I heard a slight noise but decided to ignore it thinking it's basic hospital machinery. I heard the noise come again with a faint giggles and whispers. Shawns arm tightens around my waist and pulls be closer. Then the noise comes again but this time it was followed by a additional light. I open my eyes which take a while to adjust to the bright lights.
I stare at the wall for a while and hear the noise again. I softly move shawns arm and get up and rub my eyes. I yawned and turned to see to whats causing the noise. My vision came and I was able to make out the two figures standing in front of me. It was Aaliyah and Blu.
Wait.. BLU?!
"Blu Wait what you flatlined yesterday and uh- omg" I screamed and ran to her. I jumped on her and cried.
"Wh-what time did you wake up?" I said stuttering do to the crying
"Wha- what's going on" Shawn said as he just woke up
"Aaliyah?" He said
"How did you get here"
"Mom and Charles dropped me off and picking me up later and tonight we go for there trip while you two are supposed to be a sleep" she said
"Oh okay" he nodded
"Anyway blu what time did you wake up?" I said while sitting back next to Shawn as he wrapped his arm around me
"I woke up at let's say at 7?" She said
I put my hands in shawns pocket as I felt his body tense up and I smiled knowing how he is feeling.
I pulled out his phone and seen it was 12:10.
"You've been awake all this time and you didn't wake me up?"
"You and Shawn looked so cute together sleeping so I told the doctors not to wake you and they didnt"
"But when we came in here to wake you up ourselves you guys looked so damn adorable and you know pictures last longer" Aaliyah said as she showed us the pictures they had took.
I smiled as I grabbed the phone and although we looked squished together we did look adorable
"Send it to me" I said
"Me too" Shawn said
She nodded and started to type on her phone.
I looked at blu and she motioned her head towards Shawn and I looked at him and he was smiling at his phone looking at our pictures.
"She's cute" I said pointing to me
He looked up and blushed then smirked
"Yea she is" I smiled and then realized Aaliyah just witnessed all of it
"Woah so um Charles called the school and they said they want you guys back tomorrow" She Said
"Ugh" I said
"What?"
"Knowing I will have to deal with new fakes, fuckboys, populars, it annoys me and you know I hate fuckboys"
Shawn shifted a little and removed his arm.
I looked over at him and raised a eyebrow and he shrugged.
"Well anyway we should do something today" Aaliyah said
"Liyah you're like 10" Shawn said
"I'm 12 and of course you wouldn't care" she rolled her eyes
"Come here" Shawn said
She slowly walked over towards him and he hugged her
"I'm sorry for everything I've done to you and now I have two girls to look out for. I shouldn't of never been like a dick to you and I'm sorry" he said
She hugged him and smiled
I looked over at blu and she pretended to faint. I smiled and told blu to come with me to get my bag from my car.
She nodded as Shawn and Aaliyah went to go get food.
I grabbed the keys and headed towards the front. We walked down the hallway towards the elevator as blu was smiling.
"Why are you smiling?" I asked
"Cause the way Shawn looks at you" she said
"Okay?" I said still not following along
"When you grabbed his phone and his facial expression, fuck that was hot. You have a affect on him"
"You think?"
"i don't think I know" she said looking at me then laughed
"OMG" blu said
I jumped causing me to drop the keys and made loud noise. I earned a few glares and I just smiled in returned. I bent down to grab the keys and glared at Blu. She smiled innocently, I raised my eyebrow indicating for her to continue.
"oh right, its about the one and only Leonardo" I chocked and started to laugh
" the only turn off about him" I said she laughed
Right, you guys dont know Leonardo. Leonardo is my ex. Leonardo Matthew Davis, he doesn't like his first name so he goes by his middle.
"anyway, he walked me home and i was suspicious cause he lives the opposite way, but he wanted to talk about you" I stopped to let her continue
"me? why" she shrugged
"he was saying the basics like, im a fuck up or is she really with that shawn dude?" i laughed
"he wants to visit you" I rolled my eyes
"does he know im here?" i said
"nope, but I kinda gave him your address" she said slowly
"pinche blu fucking Jenkins" i said but realized that lowkey made no sense.
I looked at her then we both laughed. I unlocked the car and grabbed my bag and made sure i had pads just in case.
"you stained" Blu said
"fuck are you serious?" I said standing up
she nodded and I groaned. I grabbed my black jeans with a white tee and my denim jacket.
"tampon or pad?" Blu said getting it from the trunk
"uhhh tampon" i said a little unsure
"ill give you a pad" I nodded and closed the door then locked it.
we went to the downstairs bathroom to change and make ourselves look decent
"when do you get out?"
"i have to stay another day"
"will your mans come over?" I said lowkey forgetting his name
"hes in LA right now, then he's moving back to Vancouver after" I nodded
"I'm sorry bbg but hey, shawn and I were talking last night and he had mentioned a friend of his and it sounds like you guys would get along perfect" she sat on top of the sink and motioned for me to continue.
"his name is ethan i believe and you guys have the same sense of humor"
"his name sounds pretty hot" i laughed
"but hes a twin" I said
'like they look identical?" she asked
"yea exactly" she nodded
"well you look hot so lets go" i said finishing the last bit of my makeup.
"lets go cause I lowkey forgot shawn was here too" i said smiling innocently
we left the restroom and the lady from yesterday at the front desk stopped me
" ma'am your fiancé i believe was looking for you and said he got the food" she said smiling
"thank you" i said shocked she remembered me.
" fiancé?" blu asked
"i didnt know what to say and i was in a rush to get to your room and i said fiancé"
she nodded and we headed back towards the room.
"we are almost on summer break fuck yes"
"uh blu that's in like 6 months" i laughed
her face dropped then she fake cried
"trust me i know" i said laughing
we got onto our floor and passed nurses and some walking patients.
a few good afternoons were exchanged and smiles.
we passed the room window and seen Nicole talking to shawn. He had look so into the conversation and aaliyah was asleep with headphones in.
i was about to walk in but Blu had stopped me.
"i want to hear" I nodded and let go of the doorknob. we put had leaned closer to the door and made sure we were able to see their faces and hear them.
"you like her dont you?" Nicole had asked
"may i ask who youre talking about?" he asked
"kylie" she said
"the way you look at her is just oblivious"
" with all do respect ma'am but kylie is gonna be my sister, yes shes is very beautiful but isnt that like incest"?" I laughed knowing I taught him that word
"i know Charles. kylie is everything to him and her feelings come before his own. im sure he would understand if he doesn't want to lose her."

shawn had looked down and thought about it. his face looked confused and then its like he realized something and looked up. i leaned a little closer to hear what he had to say.
"no" he said in all seriousness
"whats stopping you? who do you like?"
"my girlfriend lauren." she simply nodded then left the room
when she exited the room shawn was looking down and Nicole came to hug me. i know I shouldn't be hurt but I thought we had something. Guess i was wrong as per usual.
