Chapter 3: To Italy with Love

The plane left the Philippines at exactly 2:45 PM. By  KUL Malaysia Airlines Flt 705  , it only had 56 passengers, so its not really crowded inside. 

Sachii fell asleep for two hours on airplane managed by Malaysian Airlines. Her first stopover, Malaysia. For the remaining 30 minutes of traveling, the stewardess pleased them to get ready because they will have a 2 hour stop over in Malaysia. After that, she will ride on another plane to reach Italy. 

It is nearly 6 in the evening and she decided to stay in airport for two hours. She is worried that, she might get lost again and find it hard to meet someone who can understand english. But, she got hungry so she went into a convinience store inside to buy some food. She was surprised when she saw the kind of food that Malaysian people are selling. 

"What are these........?" She asked herself as she saw different kind of cup noodles on that store. She looked for more food, but she was frustrated when she happen to see nothing but more noodles. she never ate any kind of proceesed noodle since she was young. When her grandmother died because of it, she told herself that she will never eat foods like that.

She asked one of the guards standing near the store where she can find other stores that sells american food. The guard told her it is located on the next three terminals. Too far, and maybe, when she get back, she will get hungry again. 

But, she is really hungry at that time. She never liked the food on the plane and she doesn't trust those kind of food. So,she went into that store even though it is so far. 

There, she found a fast food chain, McDonalds. She was impressed, her favorite fast food resto has a branch there also. Ordering many food, she need it becuase the next trip will range from 18-19 hours. On the money that she had, there was only five hundred pesos that was left on her. Of course, she also went to a money changer, changing every malaysian dollar equivalent to more than 30 pesos.

She was sitting beside the mirror when she saw two lovers, the girl is crying as she saw her boyfriend walks away from her. Just like the scene from the movie, The Vow. Then she remembered the blog the she read about Malaysian movies. Also romantic, stories that she want the Filipino movie makers to do. 

After two hours of lingering around, she finally had her second check in. By FCO Malaysia Airlines Flt 014, she is now facing a 19-hour trip. She never think about her baggage, that on her knowledge was under the airline management.

She sat comfortably inside the plane. But, she was bothered by someone whom she doesn't know. It was her seatmate, who keeps talking on the phone and is on bad mood. She looked at him strangely and her eyes got encircled.

"Nani?"  "What?" The guy asked her as he puts down his phone.

"You---you should turn off or set on flight your phone when inside the plane." She said.

And the guy replied her in a japanese language. She got shocked and was astonied even though the guy had stopped speaking.

"Yo!" The guy told her to wake her from being still. Again, the guy speak in japanese.
