Ava POV

After being told I could be able to go home- after how many weeks I wasn't sure but I was tremendously excited o see my aunt and friends.I missed them so much and I also needed answers as to why I was in the hospital. I'm not exactly sure why no one wants to tell me the real deal. I 'm the one who got badly affected; My grades have gone down after not being in for so long and I've missed a small of chunk of my life. I guess when I get out I actually have to study a lot.

After a couple goodbyes and thank you to the nurses and doctors who took care of me,my auntie finally came. I ran to her, faster than I have ever and gave her a tight hug. "Ava mi hija, I missed you too, but you're really squeezing me here."

I started crying ,realizing how much this was affecting me my aunt bought me home.

"Home sweet home!" I shouted when I got in.

"SURPRISE!"

The light went on-(not that I even realised they were off) and lots of familiar faces popped out of nowhere, beams on their faces. I spotted all my friends and some people I never really even talked to then my smile went down when I spotted Katrina and her group of friends "What are they doing here?" I pointed at them.

"Oh come on Ava,you don't hate us that much do you?" She grinned showing off her straight teeth.

I laughed "Hate is a very strong word!" I walked away to meet with my friends so we could catch up.

"So a little bird told me that you and Noah have become quite close." I winked at Claire.

"Shhh" Sh whispered putting her finger on her mouth and then looking around.

"Oh come on everyone is gone apart from your brother and obviously my aunt but she's asleep."

"Okay,well we kinda have- after you know, you went into hospital and I had was a bit down and so Noah would stay with me and revise with me; his mum is so helpful." Claire smiled staring in the distance.

I smiled I was glad she was happy. "Oh and you met his mum, any other juicy gossip I should know about?" Claire blushed at my comment and shook her head.

"Yes! What is it?" I squealed

"He asked me out on a date!"

We both jumped up and down like little girls with crushes.

"Claire!,you should't be making her so giidy like that-she just came out of hospital and she needs to rest for tomorrow!"

Sanchez came out of nowhere talking rapidly without making eye contact with me even though he was talking about me. Did I do anything wrong?

"Alright mum!" Claire joked and went ot get her things so that they could go. It was just me and Sanchez.

He went on his phone while I just sat there staring at him.

"Hey Sanchez.you okay?" I asked him

He looked at me for a few moments before answering "Yeah,I should be the one asking you if you're alright, you're the one who just got out of hospitals; you hae a good heart Ava" he smiled

"Nah I'm okay- like really thankyou for all this it really made my day and I ment us."

"Oh that party was mainly Claire's idea and what about us?" he frowned

I shrugged and twisted in my seat "I said are we okay? Us?"

"Us? Yes, why wouldn't we be?" he put his hand in his hair clearly distreassed.

I shook my head " never mind" and before he could say anything else I walked out of the room.

"Oh by the way tell Claire I'll see her tomorrow!" I shouted when I heard the door suddenly close.

I flopped onto my bed, tired and nervous for the days ahead.

Today was just the beginning.
