JUDGING CRITERIA

There will be a point system:

Title || 6 pts.
Cover || 4 pts.
Description of Book (Summary) || 5 pts.
Grammar || 15 pts.
Creativity || 20 pts.
Plot || 20 pts.
Characterization || 20 pts.
Overall Impact || 10 pts. [How impactful was the book? Did it make you feel any kinds of emotions strongly? This could be humor, sympathy, sadness, fear, etc.]

Scores will be out of 100 pts.

For graphic books:

Cover || 10 pts. 
Organization || 15 pts.
Creativity of  Graphics  || 30 pts. 
Skills Shown || 25 pts. [How well did they use Photoshop, color schemes, etc.]

Scores will be out of 70 pts.

For random books:

Cover || 10 pts.
Organization || 15 pts.
Creativity of Topics Covered || 35 pts.
Grammar || 10 pts.

Scores will be out of 70 pts.

For poetry books:

Title || 6 pts.
Cover || 4 pts.
Description || 5 pts.
Grammar (excluding stylistic techniques) || 20 pts.
Word Choice/Technique || 15 pts.
Creativity || 20 pts.
Overall Impact || 20 pts. [How impactful was the book? Did it make you feel any kinds of emotions strongly? This could be humor, sympathy, sadness, fear, etc.]

Scores will be out of 90 pts.

Each judge will have comments for each entry they judge; 2-3 well-written sentences minimum.
