What is a character archetype?
- In literature, an archetype is a typical character, an action or a situation that seems to represent such universal patterns of human nature. An archetype, also known as universal symbol, may be a character, a theme, a symbol or even a setting.

Goal: change the world
Fear: weakness
Descriptions: brave, fearless, fierce, caring, humble, orphan, strong-willed, hope-bearer
The MENTOR
Goal: knowledge
Fear: deception
Descriptions: wise, kind, honest, harsh, trustworthy, old, gray, dying, smart, worrier
The VILLIAN
Goal: revenge
Fear: overthrown
Descriptions: evil, cruel, orphan, hate-driven, vengeful, heartless, dark, unloved, lonely
