"I'm honestly so sick of your bullshit!"
"You ran into me!" I argued with Wyatt as hot coffee seeped through my shirt. "How come every single thing I do gets on your nerves?"
"Right back atcha. Maybe if you learned to not do annoying things this wouldn't happen! Look, I have palaces to be." He tried pushing me out of the way.
"Wyatt, wait!"
"No!"
"Your shirt is covered in coffee.."
He groaned,  walked back into the room and starting digging through his dresser for something else to wear.
"Where are you always going off to?" Every single day Wyatt leaves the room and it's always some obscure excuse and I was starting to get suspicious.
"Why should I tell you? Agagh! I have nothing clean to wear!" Wyatt stomped around the room.
"I'll let you barrow some if you tell mee."
"You're a fucking idiot."
"And you're covered in coffee."
He sighed and stopped pacing. "You really want to know? Fine i'm.." he thought for a second as if he couldn't process the other half of his sentence. "With my girlfriend. I would bring her back here but I feel like she'd go insane being around you for more than 10 minuets."
Wyatt made his way to the other side of my room and grabbed one of my clean shirts. "Thank you for this and hopefully I won't see you later!" He gave me a fake, sarcastic smile and left the dorm. Every day that I spend with him my anger grows more and my tolerance shrinks less.

Cybertext wants to send you a message.

Thank god.

Cybertext: Hey, Wesley2003! What's the haps?

Wesley2003: Just the usual. I HATE my roommate.

Cybertext: I'm with you. I'm so good to my roommate and he still manages to treat me like garbage.

Wesley2003: Same here! I try to keep out of his business as much as I can but he's always there and always pissed off. I'm pretty sure he's dealing drugs now or something too.

Cybertext: crazy world, huh?

Wesley2003: If we had a competition for who's roommate is worse I would win.

Cybertext: I wouldn't bet my life on it.

Wesley2003: Me neither.

Cybertext: Hey, can I talk to you about something? You seem to be the only person who's really always there for me.

Welsey2003: Of course. <3 What is it?

Cybertext: Kids at school treat me like shit. I tried to make a group of friends. I thought they were amazing but the minuet I came out to them they beat me up and it hurts so bad. I'm trying to be strong but I feel ashamed of myself. I wish I wasn't born this way and I wish I had a solid group of friends. I have my place to escape to though so that's always a plus. There's a beach not too far from me where I can just sit there and watch the sunset, drink my peach tea and forget about everything. I try to go there as often as I can and it is kind of lonely unless I get the chance to talk to you of course.

Wesley2003: That's very rough. I'm sorry. There is nothing wrong with being gay. I've been teased and picked on before and i'm still happy that I was made like this because well boys are adorable. If somebody is homophobic you shouldn't want to be friends with them anyway. Just wait and that person will come along. Till then stay open to new people and don't forget that i'm always here. Got it?

Cybertext: Got it. Got to go now. Talk to you as soon as I can.

Cybertext has signed off.

I shut my laptop screen and pushed it into my bag. It was finally time to go to my favorite class and probably one of the few things throughout the day that keeps me sane: Creative writing.
Jack and Finn were both in it so we sat together. Jack usually wrote about his girlfriend and Finn usually wrote about music.
"Are you guys going to the dorm party tomorrow night?" Jack said, looking up from his laptop of a second.
"Yeah, of course." Finn nodded in agreement.
"Dorm party? What dorm party?" I asked, Jack and Finn were still my only real friends here so I never heard about these things.
"Come over to my dorm before and we can all go together! Sound good?" Jack suggested.
"I don't know guys I have so much work to do."
"Fine, nerd. If you change your mind you know where to find me. What's your story about?"
"Waittt I'm not done yet." I groaned.
"Hand over the laptop, Lieberwhore." Finn joked and took it from me.

"Jaeden, what the hell is this?"
I looked at the screen as Finn opened friendo. I immediately shut the screen down. "That's private. I use it to talk to my friend cybe- Jess."
"Oh okay. Friends or more than friends?" Jack smirked at me.
"Just friends.. but.. it's hard to not find myself thinking about being more than that."
"What does he look like?"
At that moment I realized I really didn't know what Cybertext looked like. I remember him saying he had brown eyes and short hair so I told them and made up some other random traits that seemed to suite him.
"He seems lovely and the way you talk about him I can tell he means a lot to you. Maybe you should tell him?"
"Maybe but not yet."
"Where's he from?"
"I don't know.. never asked."
Finn opened my laptop screen back up and opened my chat with cybertext.

Wesley2003: Hey, quick question where are you from?

Cybertext: currently living in New York. :) hbu?

"Jaeden! He lives in the same state as us! You guys need to meet up!" Finn got really excited.
"Nope nope nope. That's terrifying." I took my laptop back from him.

Wesley2003: Hey, same here. Maybe we're not as far as we thought.

Cybertext: Maybe one day they'll be no screens between us anymore.

Wesley2003: I'd love nothing more than that.

Class ended and I hadn't gotten any of my work done but it was reassuring to know that maybe my stupid internet crush wasn't as impossible as I thought it was. I got back to the dorm and saw Wyatt sprawled across his bed. We made awkward eye contact and he closed his laptop before leaving for the millionth time today.

Cybertext has disconnected.
