As Samar was driving to the destination prescribed by his father, he was a lot more confused than anyone on the planet. He soon drove to the building near his office.

"Park the car in the parking lot of the third building. Okay?" Said his father.

"Yeah, but?" He exclaimed.

"When you've waited for a 2 hours long journey, then it's just 10 minutes more!" His father answered.

Samar parked the car at the parking lot and as everyone locked their gates he gazed at his father in hope of some answers.

"It won't work" his father laughed.
"Just follow us" his sister told him.

They got into the lift and Samar's sister told him to do as they say. The very next moment Samar was blindfolded and the lift was taken just to reach the ground floor of the building from the basement.

The lift pings at the ground floor.
"Yeahhh, finally" cheered Samar.

As all of them moved out of the lift, Samar's father went up the stairs and stood with a board in his hand. Samar's sister handed Samar a box and his mother stood next to him, making him face towards his father.

Samar's sister asked him to unfold the cloth from his eyes and open that box. As Samar removed that cloth off his eyes, he couldn't see anyone near him barring his mother because of darkness. He opened that box and found a remote in it.

As soon as Samar pressed the button on the remote, the staircase lit up with colourful lights and he could see his father holding a light board that reads "Welcome to our new home."

The stairs were so beautifully decorated by his sister, the chrome blue and galaxy white lights were making as charismatic a duo as it could ever be. Samar had tears in his eyes as he went on to hug his father. His sister and mother joined in as well. It was the moment his family was longing for years now.

Samar was then told to lead through the stairs to their new home at third floor. At the first floor Samar saw a hanging swirl with all his photographs were hanging, starting from his early childhood.

As they went ahead, Samar could see all his old stuff being arranged along the staircase. At the second floor he then saw all the gifts he received from his friends during his school days. Samar stood there in shock and happiness. As he gazed at all those gifts he saw every little thing he got from any of his friends but not Preeti.

He looked at his sister and she behaved like nothing was missing. In their journey from the second to the third floor Samar saw his pictures with each of his friends and again not Preeti. He thought if his family new the turmoil he was going through and have deliberately skipped Preeti's gifts and photographs.

He was then standing in front of a grand teak brown wooden door which was having a name plate reading his father's name follwed by his name. Samar looked at his father and his father then put his hand on Samar's shoulder and asked him to open the door.

The moment Samar opened the door, he could hear the shouts and the sound of toy trumphets, he could definitely sense something special there. He entered the room and switched on the lights.

And there he was standing in awe of what will be a memory to last forever. He started crying as he looked at his school friends dancing in joy. His friends with whom he had spent all his childhood we're standing in front of him. He rushed towards them and hugged everyone. And this time he knew that Preeti won't be there.

Samar was surprised seeing Khyati there.
"You knew this all along" asked Samar.

"Yeah, I knew it. But, getting into the same train and the same coach was something that wasn't planned, I missed my train in the last night so I had to buy tickets for next train." Khyati answered.

"This is freaking me out, I can't handle all these surprises in one go" said Samar.

"If you'll meet after this long, things will be piled up" his friend Manav said.

Manav and Samar were friends since standard one and it was a month back that Samar has texted him after all these years.

Samar's sister poked Manav and asked if everything they have planned is ready. To which Manav gave an affirming response.

She then told Samar to at least have a house tour and see their new house.

"Okay! Tell me where to start from?" Replied Samar.
