As he sat there, lost in his own world.
He just remembered that last line of hers"No one is perfect in this world, and you are surely not the imperfect one.
I just hope that you'll meet great heights with your perfect imperfections.."Just as he was trying to gather those moments, someone broke his silence.
A girl came up to him and said
"Excuse me! Can you please tell what's the time?"He replied
"You must be having a smartphone ma'am"She exclaimed
"Oh goodness! how could I forget that"She left without saying any thing more.
In all of this, they both didn't even bother to see to whom they were talking !
The train arrived at the station. Samar closed his diary, packed his bag and rushed to his compartment.
He searched for his seat, placed his luggage and sat..
He didn't knew why but this time he was eager to go home, he was optimistic, he believed that everything will be fine! He wanted everything to get back to normal.
At that instance only that girl came and sat on the seat in front of him. They both had a look at one another.. and they cheered up "YOU". She was one of his classmate and certainly a good friend. She was Khyati Khemka.. And the first thing she said
"What happened to you, you have changed your number, not on any social sites.. Why are you leading such a boring life??"
"Nothing much, was just trying to discover myself" he said.
"What about PREETI MANDAL? She was your best friend, I suppose. You weren't talking to her also.." She asked
"She is my best friend" he replied with utmost conviction.
She could read the signs of something that was bothering him so she changed the topic..
"So, What are you doing these days? " she asked with a bit hesitation..
"I was trying to achieve what all I dreamed of.. I had just completed engineering in computer science from BITS, Pilani. Now I am going back to Delhi as I've to start working for a MNC in Gurgaon" he replied to her.
Soon after this, silence took over the conversation.
After a while, Samar took out his diary and started writing.
At that time, the ticket checker came and asked for the ticket and ID proof..
Samar showed him both the things and the ticket checker moved to Khyati.. She was not having her ID proof with her..
Her reply to the ticket checker showed that she was a true Delhite! and it left a big smile on Samar's face"Uncle! You all just spend time in arguing with innocent people like us, have you ever caught any wrong person traveling in trains.. No you haven't.. Just because you wish to make money by troubling beautiful and innocent girls"
The ticket checker had a high voltage shock and was looking at Samar to seek for a solution..
Samar intervened,
"She is with me! Enter my ID number in front of her ticket number.. I'm sorry for troubling you"Khyati rose " Sorry but why .. No sorry.. He'll say sorry to us"
Samar asked her to sit down..The ticket checker moved on murmuring.
Khyati exclaimed "Thank you! So you've developed interest in writing..? "
"Yes! I've been doing it for a while.. And there is nothing personal as such.. You can go through it" he answered.
He gave his diary to Khyati and she started reading it..
