Jealousy

"Ahhh why?!" Ivy screams as she flares her limbs all over her couch. She was at home face timing with Elle, discussing her untamed feelings she's been having for the past few hours ever since she saw a particular Instagram post from a month ago. "They were just sitting together talking and here I am being a stupid teenager who's getting jealous over a picture from a MONTH ago! The caption is just bothering me, I hate this".

"Hey don't think  that way. You know how much he hates parties and they've probably known each other for a while and he had no one to talk too, so they decided to talk to each other"  Elle reasons, but she did have an idea on why her best friend was acting like that.

"Gosh I hate myself." Ivy mumbles as she buries her face into the pillow closest to her.

"Hey don't say that! Where is he right now?" Elle asks as she took a bite of the pasta she was eating.

"He went to buy some groceries for our lunch." Ivy answers.

"When did you see the post?"

"Just a few minutes after he left."

"Why couldn't you go to the party again?"

"I couldn't go because I had to study for mid terms and I had to help Justine and Rachel with some unpacking since they just moved into their new apartment."

"Well stop worrying now, look I have to go I have to visit my sister something about a school play. I'll talk to you later. Love you sis"

"I love you too" The call ended and Ivy was a little more at peace but she still felt a little shaken up.

"Who are you saying I love you to besides me?" Ivy turns her head to see her boyfriend in the doorway with a few groceries in hand.

"It's just Elle luv" Ivy answers and helps out Jace. They put away the groceries and then went to cuddle for a bit before they had to continue their original duties for school. "I'm gonna shower, if my phone rings just check it for me ok."

"Can I join you?" He asks playfully which earned him a smack from a pillow, "It was a joke" He laughs as he steals the pillow from her hands and gives her a peck.

"You're so weird" She says as he leaves the room.

Jace
As she left I decided to go on my phone and play a few games for a bit. She acted a little weird though, she didn't snuggle as much as he would so I wonder what was running in that head of her's.

RING!

I look over to see Ivy's phone ringing. I see who it is and to see it was her friend Amber who was calling. I was about to yell but it stop, I look down and instead of seeing the missed call notification I saw a picture, of me more specifically. It was the Christmas party I went to because Andre dragged me there and I happen to see Diane, a friend whom I haven't seen in awhile.

Why would she look at this?

I thought for a bit then noticed the caption, "New Couple?". I then realized that she might've be acting weird because the way the picture was taken and the caption knowing how she is. I then go into our room and see her drying up her hair with a blow dryer. She notices me and turns in my direction. "Hey you ok?" I ask just to start off neutral.

"Yeah, why?" She asks.

"Because I notice this on your phone" I hold out the phone and show the picture, she looks at it with slightly wide eyes at first but then slowly falls back to her composed facade.

"Oh yeah, I just saw on while I was scrolling on Instagram" She answers not making eye contact with me.

I sigh and then ask her to face me which she agrees to with no fuss. I then grab a hold of her hands and say, "She was just a friend whom I haven't seen in awhile and the caption was suppose to be a joke ok. So no need to get jealous".

"Who said I was jealous?" She insists even if I saw right through her. "It's a small thing you really think I would-". I cut off her blabbing and give her a kiss.

"I know you were, but don't worry I'm all yours." She smiles and buries her face in the crook of my neck.

"I already know that and we don't mention this ever again ok"

"No I love you?" I say putting  a little pout on my face.

"I love you Jace"

"I love you too"
