Ugh! I wanna go home! I'm so tired!

"Jace!"

"Huh?" I look up to see my friend Andrew glaring at me. "What is it?"

"Class is over, are you going out for bubble tea with us?" His girlfriend, Veronica said.

"I can't go guys I told you. Ivy is making me dinner tonight" I answer as I begin to put all my stuff back into bag.

"That's boring, come hang with us Jace! Don't get tied down yet!"

Triggered

"Shut up you don't know anything about relationships. Come to me when you meet a girl that is smart, dumb, annoying, caring, and makes good food" I hiss and walk out hearing the others lecture him.

"What's his deal? It's just a girl"

"Jared that girl is someone he's waited for 4 years"

"Why that-"

"Jared just shut up"

I arrive home, kick off my nikes, put down my bag, and strip off my jacket. I walk around to hear shuffling and the sound of sizzling.

I look to see my girl her back facing me, attention towards the good smelling food on the stove. I decided to carefully walk towards her and back hug her.

"Hey"

"Hey" Was the first thing I hear in the slightly quiet kitchen.

"Hi" I say as I felt his lips nibble on my skin. "The food is almost done, why don't you go set up the table"

"I want to stay here with you though" He whines.

"Jace"

"Fine" He answers but steals a kiss on my cheek.
