Monica's POV
The back of school was crowded with 7th and 8th graders. I couldn't find Jace and I was starting to get irritated. The bell was about to ring so I walked to class. I went through where Jace went to fifth period and saw him standing there with his back to the wall.
"Hoe, where were you?"
"I was here the whole entire time, well mostly.", he says smiling.
I punched his arm and he yelped.
"I texted you a bunch of times though."
He shrugged and held out his phone.
"On silent".
I wave goodbye and run to my class. The line wasn't formed and my "sister" hugged me. "How was it today?", she says knowing about the meet ups. "Well Ariana, I'm actually gonna see him after school, my mom texted me earlier.", I say and she nods in understanding. "So that's why you ran off like crazy to Jace's class.", she says raising her eyebrows. She smirks and turns me around since our teacher was coming.
*Time skip*
The bell rang indicating that school was over and our teacher dismissed us. Everyone crowded around the door but eventually Ariana and I actually got out. Ariana smirks and pushes me towards a highly familiar person. I fall face first into the chest of Jace and I jump up, while repeating I'm so so sorry's. He laughs and walks away.
Oh I just can't wait to get to his house.
