I Don't Know What I'm Doing

*Abby's POV*

"Morning!" I cheered while taking a seat next to Maddi. She smiled at me and got up to put some of the dishes away. Oliver came down the stairs next holding Grace. She was fully awake and look very joyful in her father's arms.

"Mommy!" Grace yelled to Maddi as Oliver let her walk. Shr began to yank at her pant leg while pointing at the front door. "Yes honey. I know, we're going shopping later!"

Grace cheered and ran over to her toys and began to play with Moses. "They're so cute together. Can't wait for them to-."

Maddi shushed him and I got up out of my seat, "Why did you shush him?" I gave them both weird looks. "Is there something I wasn't told?" I asked and took a seat at the island.

"Um..Er..Okay! We need to tell her so I don't feel guilty!" Oliver said and covered his face. I was freaking out a little bit and Maddi took a seat next to me. "Okay Abby..I don't know how to put this but-." Maddi started but was cut off by her phone ringing.

"I guess I'll tell you later." She says while answering the phone and walking outside then closing it behind her.

*Maddi's POV*

"Hello?" I asked while pulling up a chair. "Hi, Ms. Ross. Have you been taking your pills lately?" My doctor asked me as I sat down. I took a deep breath and spoke softly, "Not..a lot for the past couple months."

I heard her take a deep breath over the phone and say, "I was told you ran out of the house after a tantrum."

Fucking Abby.

"Yes, I might have but from now on I will take them. I..promise." I said then take a deep breath and look out into the backyard.

I don't remember what my doctor said after that, all I remember was her telling me to be careful. Careful of what?

*Oliver's POV*

Maddi took her call outside and I was left with Abby.

"Well, Oliver. Will you tell me?" She asked while standing up and making her way towards me. I sighed and thought of it. "It's a simple yes or no question." She says while opening the fridge and looking around.

"Fine..take a seat." I told her while directing my hand towards a seat near the counter. "Well basically..I'm going back to Sheffield and sense I would never be able to see my children or Maddi..I want her to come with me."

Abby looked at her hands then at me, "I think you're still a bad guy Oliver..but from what I see when you're around the kids and even Maddi, you make them happier than anything."

I smiled as her and Maddi came back inside looking at the ground, very glum like. Abby coughed and then Maddi looked up plastering a fake smile on her face. "Who was that you were on the phone with?" Abby asked when she stood up and began to put the dirty dishes in the sink.

"Doctor, she was checking in." Maddi whispered then walked up the stairs.
