Chapter Five

(ETHAN^)

I text Lily to see if she wants to hang out today. She texts me and says yeah. We decide to twin and hang out at the mall.

I get up and go to my dresser to put on my clothes. I do my hair and my makeup. I text Jack and see if he wants to hangout too. He texts me back and reply's with 'Sure. Can my friend Shawn come?' I text him back 'Yeah' and lock my phone.

I look at my nails that I got done a couple days ago. They looked nice. I look at myself one last time then go downstairs.

I see Ethan and Grayson. Gosh, when will they leave? " Bye James! I'm hanging out with Lily and some other friends!" I yell. Before I walk out the door Ethan and Grayson look at me and ask " Who?"

I rolled my eyes. " Does it matter?" I ask. " Well, yeah. It is my sister" Grayson says, he sounds angry. " Well if you just have to know we are hanging out with Jack Gilinsky and Shawn" I tell him.

" No. You aren't aloud to go" Grayson tells me getting all up in my face. I push him away and tell him " You aren't my boss. I can do whatever I want" I walk out the door and run to the park.

I see Addy sitting on the bench talking to Jack and Shawn. I smile and walk over to them. I look at Jack, his eyes brighten when he sees me.

" Addilyn!" He runs over to me and gives me a big hug. I hug him back. We stay like that for a bit. I guess for too long because someone cleared their throat. I pull out of the hug and look at Lily.

She is blushing and Shawn is smiling.
" Are you guys ready for the mall?" I ask. They all nod and we start to walk. " What are you guys doing? We have a car ya know?" The boys laugh and climb in. Lily and I look at each other and get in the car.

We drove to the mall and walked in. We were walking around when a little old lady came up to us. " Awe a cute little old lady!" Shawn smiles. He realizes what he said and blushes. We all laugh, even the women in front of us. " Hello, I am on a scavenger hunt and I need a picture of a couple. Can I get a cute picture of you guys?" She asks.

Even though none of us were in a relationship we all agreed. She pulled out a phone. I jumped on Jacks back and Shawn picked up Lily. We all smile and she smiles then takes the picture.

She slightly tugs on my arm. I look her way and she shows me the phone. It's the photo. I grab the phone and send it to me.

I delete my number and smile at her. She winks at me and walks away. We decide to go see a new movie.

We pick a scary movie and go sit down. Jack and Shawn go and get popcorn and drinks.

" I call Shawn" Lily tells me. I nod and smile. " I don't know who I want" I tell her. She looks at me confused. " I like Jack but I like Grayson" I tell her. She nods and the boys come back. Jack hands me my cherry icee. I smile and put it in the cup holder.

The movie starts and there is a jump scare. Lily screams and cuddles into Shawn's arms. He wraps his arm around her and they stay like that. I just jump. There is another one and I put my face on jacks arm. He smiles at me and I lay my head on his shoulder.

The movie ends and we walk out. " It's getting late guys. We should go home" I tell them. They all agree and jack gives us a ride home. They drop Lily off first. Shawn walks her to the door and He gives her a hug. Ethan opens the door and smiles at him. Grayson is giving him the death glare. He smiles back, a little nervous, and they say goodbye. Jack then drops Shawn off and I climb in the front seat.

" Welp. Today was fun" I tell him. He nods and we finally get to my house. I look at him and he smiles. He pulls me in for a hug and we say our goodbyes. I walk into the house and put everyone in a group chat. Well I ask Jack to put Shawn in there.

I turn my phone off and get in the shower. I get out and brush my teeth. I put some pjs on and plug my phone in. I cuddle into my blanket and fall asleep.

Jacks POV 

Today was such a great day. I really like Addilyn. I hope she likes me back. Shawn told me that he likes her friend Lily.

I open my door and my mom greets me. " Hi honey! How was your day?" She asks me. " It was pretty great, actually" I smile. She smiles at me and gives me a hug.

I hear little footsteps running behind me. " Hadley!" I yell. I turn around to see my six year old sister run up to me.

I pick her up and swing her around.

" Hi Jacky!" She squeals. I laugh and put her down.
" Have you brushed your teeth?" I asks. She nods and I smile at her. " Tell mommy goodnight" she runs over to my mother and gives her a big hug. She runs back to me and I pick her up. I go to her room and tuck her in.

" Do you want me sing you a song?" I ask her. She nods and I start to sing softly. She smiles and falls asleep.

I walk out of her room and go to the bathroom. I take a shower and brush my teeth. I put some shorts on and go to my room. I think about today and fall asleep with a smile on my face.
