Just The Adopted Girl

Chapter Eleven

Ian started wiping all the makeup off his face. " Hey! Why are you doing that?" I pout. He just laughs and continues. I smile and put all the makeup away.

I stand up and get pulled back down. Ian grabbed my waist. I start giggling as he tickles my side. We hear the door open downstairs and get up. We walk down to see James have some salads and Anthony Gargiula.

I smile as he helps James inside with all the food.
" Foods-" he starts as Ian cuts him off. " Here, yeah we know" I just start to giggle.

I grab my food and a water. I gave James and Anthony a kiss on the cheek and Ian groans.

" Hey! You forgot about me!" I just laugh and run back up to my room. I finish eating my salad and throw it away.

I turn off my light and fall asleep.

I wake up and go get a shower. I wrap my towel around my body and hair then brush my teeth, I walk to my room after. I hear a door opening and quickly dart in my room, locking the door.

I quickly get dressed into a yellow sweater and black leggings. I put on some cute socks and start to blow dry my hair. I brush my hair and it gets all frizzy. I just throw it up in a messy bun.

I hear a knock at my door and open it.

" Hey, James wanted me to ask if you wanted anything to eat?" Ian tells me.
" No, but can he please get me a lemonade?" I flash him a smile and he nods. I close my door and go over to my nightstand, grabbing out my journal.

I grab my favorite black pen from my little cup and start writing. After a half an hour or so there is another knock at my door.

I mark my page and go over to the door. Ian looks up from his feet and smiles. " Here is your lemonade m'lady" he hands me it. I smile, " Well thank you" I grab it from him and we just stand there. I kiss his cheek and close my door.

I take a sip of my lemonade and jump back on my bed. I start my writing again.

When I finish I close the book and put it back in its secret place. I put my pen back and grab my phone and beat pill. I connect my phone to it and start playing my playlist.

I play some songs and start humming to them. I look at my phone and see Snapchat's.

I slide over and see one from Grayson. I tap on it and he is smiling over at Ethan and the caption says 'good morning beautiful'

I just smile at the caption and take a picture of my ceiling 'good morning'

I tap on Lily's and she is snapping pictures of Shawn. I smile and responded with 'goals'

I toss my phone on my bed and grab my laptop. My phone dings and I grab it. I open the Snapchat from Grayson and it's him and Ethan pouting. ' Why are you not showing your face?' I just take another picture of the ceiling and responded with 'I'm ugly' I send it and put my phone on my desk.

I open my laptop and start doing school. My phone goes off a couple times but I ignore it.

I finish my school and it took forever. I grab my phone and open all the snapchats. Grayson saying I'm not ugly and Ian asking if I wanted to go to the park today. I sent them both yes and I got up. I went down the steps and I hear laughing. I look over and Ian is pointing at my feet. I look at my socks with the fluff balls. I huff and roll my eyes.

I try to put my converse but my socks won't fit. I groan and run up the steps almost falling. I put on regular socks and go back downstairs.

I put on my black converse and Ian opens the door for me. I walk out and we start heading to the park.

We make it there and sit on a bench. He smiles over at me and I return it. I see Grayson, Ethan, and Lily walking to the park. I look over at Ian and he rolls his eyes.

I wonder why.

Addy spots me and runs over to me and gives me a big hug. I smile and hug her back. We pull apart and see Ian and Grayson death glaring each other. Ethan then joins in death glaring Ian.

" Uh guys?" I ask. They all look at me and smile. I smile back, confused. I look at Lily and she shrugs it off.

" Well anyways, lets go swing!" I say, cheerfully. I got on the swing in the middle and instantly Grayson sat on my right and Ian on my left. I just started swinging as they are in sink, still death starring each other.

Ethan and Addy are just by themselves talking. Out of nowhere Grayson and Ian both yell " It's not fair!" I look at them confused and Grayson starts speaking.

" We both like you! But yet you make it seem like you like both of us. It doesn't work like that!" I was about to responded when Ian starts talking.

" But yet, it still feels like you are just using us! It's not fair, and also it's not cool! So I am about to just give up on you!" Grayson then quickly agrees,
" Me too"

I just look at them in shock and start yelling myself.

" Fine! Leave then! It's not like you would ever love me anyways! I'm just the adopted girl!" With that I jump off my swing, hearing my name being called  as I run out of the park.
