Just The Adopted Girl

Chapter Eight

I woke up and put on a white crop top hoodie and some shorts. I slipped on my white converse. Instead of putting in contacts I just put on my glasses. I get up and go to my mirror.

I fix my hair into a messy bun and grab my phone. I grab some money and go down the steps. I walk out the door and walk to Starbucks. I order my drink and walk back to my house. I walk in and head upstairs. I wasn't planning on being in this outfit all day. I picked out a different outfit and I was about to get undressed.

I heard a knock on the door and ran down the steps. Lily was suppose to come over and stay but when I opened the door all I saw was the twins. I rolled my eyes and ran back upstairs. I pulled down my hair and turned my curler on.

I curled my hair and put on a blue hoodie with a pair on black leggings. I did my makeup and I was getting hot so I put my hair into a curly messy bun.

I heard another knock and ran down the steps. I ran down so fast at the end I tumbled down. I laugh and openthe door. I gave Lily a hug and shut the door. We walked into the kitchen and started talking about random things.

We decided to go on a walk and grabbed water bottles. We walked outside and walked for a few.

We found a park and started to mess around. We were laughing a lot and having a lot of fun.

We decided to go home and chill for a bit. Once we got to my house we instantly ran to the living room and turned sponge bob on. Ethan joined us and handed us some popcorn.

Lily got up to go use the bathroom and I got up to go get more popcorn and some drinks.

I put the popcorn in the microwave and poured us all some juice. I grabbed a bowl when the microwave beeped and grabbed out the fresh popcorn.

I opened the bag and dumped it into the bowl. On my way back to the living room I threw the bag away. I jumped back onto the couch and we all started to eat popcorn again.

After watching a couple more episodes we all got bored and decided to go out and eat. We called Grayson and James into the room so we all can decide what we wanted.

" Hm, how about McDonald's?" Lily asks. " Nah, what about Taco Bell?" Ethan asks excitedly. Grayson shook his head " Let's go to Arby's!" I shook my head " Ew"

Then James came up with a great idea. " How about we go to Applebee's?" We all nod in agreement and go outside. We all drive to Applebee's.

We walk in and have to wait for fifteen minutes. It was taking forever. Once we were finally called we all sat down and order our drinks.

" We all would like waters, three with lemons please" James tells the waitress. She nods and we all talk about random stuff when she gives us all our drinks. " Thank You" we all say in unison.

We order our food and the waitress came back and sat everything down. " Anything else for you guys?" We all shake our head and she smiles.

Grayson looks at me and scoffs then rolls his eyes.
" You are so basic" I look down at my food. " Just because I got chicken tenders and fries doesn't mean I'm basic!" I argue back. " Yeah, it just means you are a picky two year old" I roll my eyes and continue to eat my food. I finish first, as everyone is almost done. I continue to sip my drink when I felt my phone buzz in my hoodie pocket.

I grab out my phone and slide over on the snapchat from Jack. It's picture of him captioned 'Can I come over tonight? I need to talk to you' I take a picture of me and respond with 'Yes'

After they all finished their food we walk out of the restaurant and head to Walmart.

James and the twins go shopping for food while Lily and I go into McDonald's to get milkshakes.

" One vanilla, one chocolate milkshake?" The cashier asks. " Yep" I respond. I hand him the money and go stand in the waiting line. Once he called our number I thank him and hand Lily her chocolate milkshake.

" Now lets go find the boys" she says.

After looking around for what felt like hours we found them in the toy aisle acting like idiots. We just laugh at them. Grayson ran to the aisle over and Ethan hit a ball over to him. We heard something fall on the floor and we ran over to Grayson. A toy was on the floor and Grayson was trying to not burst out laughing. We quickly ran from the aisle and went to go pay for our things.

After we finished we walked out to the car and put everything In the trunk. We all climbed into our cars and drove to the house. Even though Lily and I already had milkshakes we wanted slushees.

" Who wants slushees?" I ask, drawing out the 's'
" Wait, didn't you guys already have a milkshake?" Grayson asks. " So? We're fat we get it. Now do you want the dang slushee or not?" I ask, super annoyed. He nods and Lily asks them all " What color?"

" I want blue and red" Ethan smiles. " I want red" Grayson replies. " No thank you girls. I need to go edit" James says. We all nod and Ethan decides to come with us. We go to speedway and get large slushees. We pay for them and head back to the house. I grab mine and Grayson's slushees and walk inside. The thing I see makes me drop the slushees.

Grayson and Jack fighting, physically. Grayson punched Jack straight on the nose making it bleed. Then Jack punches Grayson in the eye. They keep going back in forth.

" What are you guys doing?!" I scream.
