"Whats on your wrist?" Baileys delicate hand reached forward, grabbing Luke's arm in a surprisingly firm grip. The blonde flinched in slight surprise, pulling his arm back.

"Jeremy, not now."

The blonde smiled, "Nothing. My clumsy ass slammed it in the door." He laughed softly, grabbing the vodka and quickly mixing a drink a girl had ordered. "Here you go, love." He handed the glass to her and the brunette winked, grabbing it from his hand. Luke was used to the flirting from girls and occasional men. He assumed they took his kindness and thought nothing other than seduction.

"How do you slam your wrist in a door?" Bailey raised a eyebrow skeptically, nodding at a man from behind the bar and turning to get a beer. "Seems like you'd have to be pretty careless to do that."

Luke really didn't want to tell Bailey the real reason how he got the bruises. He knew she'd make a bigger deal out of it then it was. Jeremy would've stopped before it got too far. He was sure of it.

But he also knew that Bailey wasn't born yesterday. She was a smart girl and he was sure she didn't believe him. He didn't need her to buy the explanation, just needed her to rent it for now.

"Careless seems to be my middle name these days." He joked a bit, flashing a smile at her. He decided to change the subject, not taking any more chances at the conversion topic. "Hows Baby?"

Baby was Bailey's three year old daughter. Her name was actually Olivia but he always called her Baby because he insisted that she was HIS baby. He threatened to steal her from Bailey one day. Of course, it wouldn't be kidnapping because he joked that she would willingly come with him.

"Adorable as ever. Actually I may need some help this weekend. Think you'll be free? She's been dying to see you, anyway." Bailey finished pouring the beer, sliding it to the customer. She immediately turned to fill another pint for the other man next to him. "I need a night to myself."

"Of course I'm free. When am I not?" He sighed. "I miss her anyway. Plus I need an excuse to do nothing but drink juice and watch cartoons." He genuinely enjoyed hanging out with Baby. She was a pretty quiet kid and never failed to amaze Luke with her strange drawings that she knew the exact meaning of.

Luke's eye's moved to the clock above a Jimmy Hendrix poster. He let out a breath and smiled. "Shifts up in five." He crossed his left arm over his body, stretching it a bit.

Bailey rolled her eyes. "Its not like you leave when it ends, anyway. Jeremy is always late to pick you up. I don't know why you don't just let me drive you home." She leaned against the counter, glancing at the clock anxiously. She was never a fan of Jeremy. She always insisted that she got bad vibes from him and always looked forward to when Luke was with her. He was like a younger brother to her.

"Yeah, but I don't see him very much. I try to get as much time with him as I can." Luke shrugged. "And if he doesn't have a reason to leave the gym, he won't." He smiled a bit and glanced at the clock, watching it click to 5:00pm and immediantly started taking his apron off. They were only required to wear the ones around their waist.
