Dani's POV
I slide next to Lauren because we are still working on the same project.

"Give me a reason to dislike me." I order and Lauren starts laughing.

It is withheld but it is a laugh nonetheless.

"Something funny?" I ask and Lauren nods not answering me again.

She turns to me slightly smirking like she's waiting for me to come up with the answer myself.

I kinda get sidetracked staring at her face.

Lauren's POV
"Looks like I actually got your full attention." I finally speak to Dani seeing that she's been blatantly studying my face for the past two minutes.

"I was paying attention the whole time." She argues and I roll my eyes.

I tuck her extensions behind her ear so she's paying attention to my next words.

"You were paying attention to how to make me like YOU not me." I emphasize you and as her mouth opens it stays agape with no words coming out.

Dani's POV
"Can't be a smooth talker to everyone." Lauren never answered my question.

I can imply that it was because I was acting self centered but she didn't answer it.

"Let me take you out and change your mind." Her brown eyes I had been drowning in widen.

She clearly had been playing with me not expecting an answer.

She quickly smirks regaining her composure.

That smirk is going to kill me.

"Is little Miss Danielle asking me out?" I choke on my own spit at Lauren's confidence towards me.

No one ever acts like this, even the douche bag jocks.

"I don't know, maybe." I admit smiling sheepishly really hoping she'll say yes.

She chuckles her brown eyes sparkling, "That isn't certain enough for me." I huff crossing my arms over my chest.

"Fine I want to go on a date with you." I clear up so she can't embarrass me anymore.

"I'll go on a date with you on one condition. It has to be because you like me not just because you want me to like you." I nod rapidly at her.

Lauren's POV
"My little sister has never been on a date how did you do it?" Amy asks me and I shrug.

Amy lightly hits my arm, "I want to know." She whines.

"Ask your sister than, you live in the same house." She pouts at me and I put my coat on not ready to hit the cold winter air.

I look down at Amy who I think is wearing five layers by now.

"That's how you did it." I cock my head at the shorter girl having not said anything.
