Awkward Car Ride

Lauren's POV
I look at the time it has been thirty minutes and Christina is usually right on time.

Then I see the headlights pulling in making me sigh with relief.

"We'll get Dani's car tomorrow you two need to get home." That's a good concerned start.

Dani's green eyes face mine and I nod grabbing the blankets while Dani grabs the important stuff in her cars including the cars papers.

Smart.

When I open the door I see the frowning Lisa.

Dani's POV
"This isn't a good impression." I try to break the ice with a joke.

It doesn't work very well getting a glare out of the one in the passenger seat.

The other one throws a fake smile at me, "Not really."

I set my hands in the arm rest clutching the ends tightly because I'm terrified.

My hand is soon warmed by another one resting on top of them.

"Dani they won't kill you." I am dead eightfold in just a minute if looks could kill.

"C-Can you just say something?" Lauren nods as I curse that I stuttered.

Lauren's POV
"Thanks for coming to pick us up." I tell Christina and partly Lisa even though I didn't want her here.

"Weren't going to leave you in the cold." Lisa laughs but she has a hint of sarcasm lining her voice, stressing on the you.

"You mean us, right?" I try to make my older sister more hospitable.

"Sure." She answers sarcastically and I am disappointed in her.

Dani looks at me worriedly before looking back at her lap.

I'm guessing she doesn't take ridicule well.

The rest of the car ride is silent besides Dani giving directions on how to get to her house.

Right as Dani gets out of the car I am bombarded, "Lauren Christine!" I tense up scared of what's going to come next.

Dani's POV
I get into my house luckily having a key on my keychain and like I though it is silent besides the ticking of a clock.

I go up to my room and am surprised as I open the door to see both Katherine and Amy up in my room.

"Danielle! Where were you?" They asks and I gulp seeing that rage is clouding the concern in their eyes.

"Well..."
