The Keepers held a Gathering just because though everyone knew that Ed would be banished. Newt came out of the Gathering and put his arm around me. 

"Is he being banished?"
"Oh yeah. Bloody shank threatened you and hurt you. And don't worry you're not being punished for hitting him. It was an act of defense."

I sighed in relief. I was pretty sure I wouldn't be punished but I was still worried at the possibility.

"However, Alby is placing protection over you from now on. Starting with sleeping arrangements. Since Ed slipped into your room and could've harmed you easily without anyone knowing, I will be sleeping in your room from now on. I'll set up a hammock in the room. Don't worry, I'll leave or look away while you're changing or anything like that. Alby thought I would be the best choice seeing as we are together. Is this okay with you?"
"Perfect" I said.

Our hands slipped together and we walked to my- our room. I went in and while I changed into Pjs Newt ran to grab his hammock. I was in bed half asleep when Newt told me goodnight and went to bed.

I am going to go crazy with Newt. I thought he would just share my room and make sure I'm not wandering alone where absolutely nobody has seen me, but he is driving me crazy. He is hardly letting anyone talk to me and he must always be present, he is around me 24/7. I once walked to go get some fertilizer and he got upset because he couldn't see me for 0.2 seconds. I was slowly losing my mind. I loved him but I loved him being him, not psycho crazy must know where you are every moment of every second day and all you do and see and say and hear and breathe and fell and touch and eat and drink and go. I just wanted old Newt back.

I spent the day as usual, newt by my side as I worked and ate but this time I was forming a plan on what I was going to say about his behavior. I just needed to be firm and clear. Newt and I worked together with our arms around each other and sat down with Thomas and Minho. They made kissy faces as we sat down and we rolled our eyes and started eating. We talked about the usual stuff: Gally, the Maze, the Creators, what we'd do if- when we got out of here.

When dinner ended Newt and I walked back to our room. He waited outside while I changed. When he came in I hid under the covers while he changed. He came to kiss me goodnight but I put up two fingers causing him to open his eyes confused. 

"Hon, we need to talk."
"What is it, love?"
"Sweetie, I love you, and I love that you love me enough that you are so concerned with my safety, but honey, you are driving mE crAZy! I'm sorry but I do not need you to be focused on my every single move. I understand that things got out of hand with Ed and that's why you're here and you check up on me but not grill anyone for approaching. I just need you to take it down ten thousand notches. Please?"
"I didn't know you felt this way. I'm so sorry. I didn't know you felt this way. I will I promise."

We went to bed and I felt relieved. At last. Back to normal.
