»Eudora's POV«

"Zane!" I yelled as the two puppies took off with a water bowl, knowing he had walked downstairs earlier.

I sighed, putting up the other bowl. Paris and I had been trying to get them to eat puppy chow and drink water instead of staying on milk, since they acted old enough to be weaned.

But the little devils kept pulling stunts like this.

I heard laughter as Zane and Clarissa walked into the kitchen with the puppies and the stolen water bowl. "They really like this bowl, don't they?" Clarissa said as she placed the pug down.

Zane placed the other puppy down and it hid behind my legs.

Clarissa crouched down, petting the puppy in front of her and I looked up at Zane. He was still holding back laughter as the Frenchie decided to bite my pant leg.

I laughed, picking up the puppies and walking outside to the back yard, placing them there since it was fenced in. Zane followed.

I felt him watching me as I sat on the patio and left the puppies run around, which only ended up in them tackling each other and play fighting.

"Zane!" Ashton yelled, and I laughed to myself as Zane groaned.

"What?" He asked, his footsteps fading as he walked back into the house. I looked back at the puppies, watching them play fight and run around.

»Zane's POV«

I stared at Ashton as he happily walked back to the living room, plopping down on the couch. I frowned, looking back towards the back door before walking upstairs.

I saw Paris and my mom talking by Paris's door and smiled to myself that Paris and Eudora were at least comfortable here.

From the first time I officially talked to Eudora and Paris, and the phone called Paris had with their parents, I kind of got the hint that their parents were worthless to them. However, they didn't seem to care.

But I knew my mom would question one of them sooner or later. I had tried to warn them about it, but completely forgot.

I came back to reality to realize I had subconsciously came to my room. I walked to the bed and sat on it, pulling out my phone to see text from some of the guys on the team. Most of them saying that they would be at my house soon.

I, once again, frowned at the thought of them being here. Last time they were here, it wasn't pretty, and I was honesty surprised that Ashton had convinced my mom to allow them over.

I closed my eyes, planning to relax before I had to stress over whether or not the house would still be standing.

I woke up to a knock on my door. I rolled over, grabbing my phone to look at the time, and saw it had only been about twenty minutes since I had fallen asleep.
