Everything stopped and stood still.
The silence piercing.
The coldness lingering on my skin.
My eyes stung from the salt, but the feeling felt good. The feeling of slowly sinking, leaving your worries- your fears. My body felt limp, my breathing hitched in my throat, as my heart beat gradually dies down, until there is nothing left. I second thought my choice, thinking of what I left behind, to wither through the years. Then I thought about the people who I've known through the years- the people who I'm a burden to.
Why should I live if I have nothing to live for? My mother left me at a young age, my father turned against me, abused me, saying everything was my fault, that I was a victim in the world's biggest mistake. Then there's people who attended my school- the people who never knew I existed. Even if they found out I attended the same school, I was treated the same way, abused- kicked, punched, grabbed, shoved. Each injury gave me less hope that I would mean anything in this merciless world.
I then thought about what could've happened, but chose not to. Like my mother staying and having a happy family, but didn't. How I was a happy student at a public school, but wasn't. To me having a loving father who's supportive, but who wasn't. I look up to the swirling heap above me, how I see the morning sun shine through the waves, making a faint glow on the water's surface.
I take one last look how I came to be here.
Then I closed my eyes,
And said goodbye to a life I wasn't worth for.

???'s POV
I sighed, seeing my warm breath break the cold, still air. I shouldered my jacket while walking. We had to get up early for our photo shoot that was in ten minutes. We were heading to a bridge that was above a river because the photographer said it would catch a feel of being natural in a natural environment. I streaked my hand through my light brown hair while letting another warm breath escape my lips into the morning air.
"So glad you guys could make it," spoke the photographer, "We'll start off with the whole group on the bridge, leaning on the railing while looking at the sun rising or either gazing at the river. Act natural like it always happens when you come by here." He instructed. We all nodded our heads while getting into place.
I walked to the railing, slumping onto it with my arms holding me up. I look at the glowing river under me, making me smile a bit at its beauty. While I was staring, I saw movement, then something come into view. I saw what looked like black clothing.
I pressured my eyes to look harder- only to find it was a black hoodie. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion as I keep staring, trying to see if my eyes were playing tricks on me.
They weren't.
A patch of pale skin came, then a pair of torn shorts. My eyes widened, thoughts swimming in my mind. Without notice, I sprint to the bank of the river with the photographer yelling at me to come back, along with my group calling my name. I stopped at the right time at the bank to see a face in the shimmering water. I quickly take off my jacket, along with any loose things, then jumped into the frost-cold water. The coldness immediately attacked my warm skin.
I swam to the body, grabbing onto the arm and heaving the person up. My head popped out of the water, breathing the foggy air. I swam to the side of the river, still heaving the body along with me. The others were waiting, either with a worried or confused expression. I climbed onto the grass with the help of my friends, bringing the body too.
"Hospital... quick..." I settle down my heart beat and my breathing for me to speak. The others must've understood what I was saying because they hauled the body, grabbed me, and we ran to the hospital as quick at we could.
