A/N: Long time, so see.

I stalked all the way to my temporary room, slamming the door closed. Sighing, I ripped off the yellow summer dress, changing into more comfortable clothes like jeans and a top. I laid down on my bed, gazing at the high roof. Without notice, tears started racing down my cheeks and small sobs made themselves loud and clear with the echo in the room. I turned around on my bed, clenching the pillow under my head. "Why..." I whisper, shaking my head. "Why can't I go back to the simpler times... back to the boys..."

After several minutes, a knock was heard on my door, causing me to rise up and walk towards the door, opening it a little bit. I recognised the wavy light brown hair and the greeny-blue eyes, having me open the door wider to let him in. "I brought some food inscase you were hungry." Nikolai said, glancing at me as he placed the tray down on the table beside my bed. It was silent as I sat on my bed, having him sit next to me.

"Why?" I randomly blurt out. Nikolai gazed at me with a confused stare. "Why... Why are you working with that... lame excuse of my father?" He sighed, falling backwards to lay on my bed. "He gave me hope." I fixated my charcoal eyes to him, "Meaning?""My parent's disappeared after a wild fire several years ago, their bodies not found after the fire. I was claimed an orphan and went to an orphanage. Couple of years past and I went to work at a bar. That's where I met your dad." I scoffed, "Father not dad, and it does sound like him to go to a filthy bar to get drunk." Nikolai have a short laugh before continuing. "He talked about to leaving him suddenly, how he was angry and mad at you for leaving, depressed since your mother died and how he bottled up his anger until he went to the bar to drink."

"Well that's a big ass lie." I mumbled, causing him to nod. "I know. Tessa told me that your told her that he abused you ever since your mother died, right?" I nodded, not being able to process words. "He offered me a place to live with food provided, only on one condition." I hadn't noticed that I was staring at him until we locked eyes, causing heat to rise to my cheeks. "He said that I could get shelter and food on one condition... and that was to agree to marry his daughter."

My head snapped up at his words, causing me to furrow my eyebrows in anger. I guessed he noticed my reaction, causing him to sit up quickly with his hands up in surrender. "I know it sounds foolish, but I was desperate and when he gave me those options I couldn't help but to think about myself, not knowing the consequences of the other person." I gazed down, noticing Nikolai's hands slowly enveloping mine. "I'm sorry... I wish I could end the deal but it's not as easy said than done. I know how horrible of a person he is to you... I just..." "I understand, Nikolai." I say, glancing up at his widened yet saddened eyes.

Nikolai then broke out into a smile, having me tilt my head in confusion. "In all honesty, I don't mind the deal." "What?" I question him, not fully understanding. "I mean... he never said how beautiful his daughter was so I was expecting  horrendous things, but instead... it was someone way too good for me." I blushed heavily, trying to cover my face but he held onto my hands tightly. Nikolai started laughing at my squirming, causing me to laugh as well. While laughing, my mind flashed an image of Jungkook, then Taehyung, then my recently found brother...

I shook my head, gazing at Nikolai with a genuine smile. I was having a debate with my mind and my heart when I unintentionally blurted our something that felt right, yet wrong.

"I don't mind the deal, either."
