It's pitch black. The cold concrete beneath me chilling my bones. I sat up, my body aching and craving for warmth, water and food. I wasn't sure what time it was, but I got a feeling it was three o'clock due to how dark it was.

That was when everything dawned on me.

Tears started rolling down my cheeks as sobs got stuck in my chest. I wept, not caring if I was the loudest thing in the night. My body heavily shook as I attempted to stand, gripping the metal bars to support my weight. "I HATE YOU." I screamed, my fists tightening. "I HATE EVERYTHING. LET ME GO. LET ME LEAVE."

My chest heaved as I dropped to the ground, my hands still gripping the bars. "Just let me leave..." I whisper, "Let me go home..." "But you are home." My eyes shot up, not recognising the voice nor the figure. "What? Who are you?" I said, my voice cracking. The figure sat in front of the bars, placing their warm hands over mine. I jerked backwards, falling on my back and whacking my head against the flooring. I groaned, causing my body to ache even more.

"Who am I?" The figure repeated, almost teasingly. "I'm you're partner." I struggled to let that sink in, not knowing what they meant. "What're you talking about?" I muttered, the darkness of the room causing me to start hallucinating. The figure chuckled, a deep chuckle that made goosebumps rise across my body. "You must not understand. He must've not told you, my sweetness."

I cringed at the pet name, trying to growl that failed since the lack of hydration. "What don't I understand?" I question sternly, my imagination running wild to make rabid wolfs and bears I'm the blank room. "You're mine, soon to be wedded wife." "You're not making any sense." I shot at them, my fear rising at the word 'wedded wife'.

"I'm Nikolai Volkov, nice to meet you Soomi Volkov."
