Chapter Twenty Nine

A/N: hOMAIGAD AN UPDATE

A week has gone past with awkward dinners, thirsty and lustful stares from Tessa and small yet caring gestures from Nikolai.

Everyday, I wonder how Yoongi's doing, how Jin is, what Jungkook's up to. Do they even remember me for how long I've been gone? Wouldn't matter either way, they lived peacefully and happily before they met me so what's different?

Sitting in the garden, I watched bees buzz around the flowers and the wind lightly blow through the leaves. I heard a click, causing my head to snap up towards the door that lead to the downstairs back room. I watched as Nikolai elegantly walked out in a beautiful pastel purple lace and frilled dress. I gaped at him, in astonishement, pride and confusion. "What are you..." "I wondered what wearing a dress would be like when I saw you wearing one, so I decided to try it out. You look gorgeous by the way." Shaking my head while lightly laughing, I patted the seat next to me, having him sit down beside me. 

I gazed away towards the water fountain where the clear water splashed as the Koi fish swam around in circles. "You seem detached." Nikolai said, gazing at me thoughfully. I shrugged, shaking my head, "It's nothing. Just thinking." "About what?" He questioned more, tilting his head ot he side which made a small red hue arise in my cheeks. "The Boyz ;)" I answered, sighing. "The one's Tessa spoke about before you came here?" I nodded, having copy my action. "I miss them. A lot." I said, having it come out quieter than I thought. "Why though? You're here, they're over there. You have me here, no need to think about them. They're just boys you stayed over with" 

"They're more than that, Nikolai." I stood up, my voice stern with my eyes glaring at him. "They're more than just boys. Maybe to you, but they're family to me- real friends." Nikolai scoffed, "Real friends don't let their other friends just leave them." I tilted my head at him is disbelief. "What made you think I willingly left them? That Tessa girl threatened my friends and myself if I didn't go. That Tessa girl dragged me out of my home and from my friends and took me here without my consent. That Tessa girl took my back to the one thing I never wanted to go back to, and you're telling me that I willingly left to go with this psycho girl that I don't even know over my own family and friends?" I said quickly yet angrily, annoyed at the thought that he could even think that way.

"I thought that out of everyone here, you'd be the one that'd understand." Nikolai gazed at me sadly as hot tears welled up in my eyes. "But I was wrong."

With that I walked away from him, back inside the house and wandered to wherever my feed took me. I let the warm tears roll down my cheeks as I thought about all of them- Jin, Yoongi, Namjoon, Hoseok, Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook. The happy times we spent together...
