“Cali….Cali, wake up now chief is calling. Something big has happened I can feel it! CALI!!!!!” Jairon shouted at me from the other side of this dull bedroom of ours.

“Fine just wait a second fuck me” I called back in response. He always did this on my lay in day but usually for a cuppa or breakfast but not for a case. Something serious must have happened also as Jairon said Daniel sounded really upset, worse than “Massive”. I chucked on some plain clothes before cleaning myself up, still with a massive headache from getting pissed last night. Oh well though, it’s not like its going to disturb my work, is it? We jumped into the car (which a friend had brought back for me after last night) and drove off to the address we had been told about. Arriving at the old, deserted house we were hesitant on whether to go in because it definitely didn’t look safe.

“Are you ready for this because I think you might need to hold me hand because I might get scared” I said. He took my hand as we took a couple steps in the old but familiar house.

“What has happened chief I thought that….” I stopped mid way through my sentence as he led me to a room full of 50 children under 6 years of age with a couple adults under the lifeless heap of grey bodies. I cuddled into Jairon’s chest crying as the scene was too much for me. It was worse than the other case, probably with the same sad, worthless human who made “massive” a huge mess in my head and the office. Just the thought of the children gave me the shivers. Tears were falling down my face so Jairon raised his blue jumper and wiped my face softly. He kissed the top of my head and turned me back round to face the corpses of the children lying on the chipped and blood stained floor, mostly red from the blood of this evils humans work.

“Shame blueberry nursery had to see this, it had been so oblivious of what the out side had to hold until now” claimed Daniel walking towards the doors of this familiar nursery.

“Hold on, did you say Blueberry Nursery? I used to go here! I knew I knew this place from somewhere. Why such a bad memory though?” I explained why there were memory’s running through my head. I knew that no one would ever understand what I saw that day. The guns, the blood, the decisions and the men who seemed taller than everyone else, especially me. Knowing that those friends would never come back or live the life I have. I have an amazing boyfriend, the best friends I could ever wish for and an amazing family. Attached to a smaller girls dress was a small note covered in some kind of casing which read:

Hello Cali, we meet at such short notice,

Does this bring back any memories?

I sure hope it does, little penny, tiny Timmy and maybe even puny Jeremiah.

Listen ill give you a clue on who this is,

Im closer than you think. Want more?

SORRY, you have 15 days to guess or more people will be going down.

Good luck with mission impossible.

Me??????

Now I am scared of what this man is capable of, what he will do and is it me he is truly after?
