I was woken up by someone lightly shaking my arm.

I open my eyes, seeing Taylor directly in front of me. His face was puffy, like he had been crying. What?

I turn to see my mom, a small smile on her lips.

   I smile back.

"Good morning. I didn't know where you were. I let you go to the ambulance to see Taylor, then you never came back. So I thought you were with friends. I came here to visit Mrs. Caniff, Mr. Caniff, and Taylor, and here you are!" she smiled, whispering excited.

"Sorry, mom. I totally forgot. I was really only thinking about Taylor and his family at that time." I mumble, trying not to wake my sleeping, handsome... Thing. What are we?! Boyfriend and girlfriend? He and she? A grape and strawberry?! Ok... Now I'm getting out of control...

"It's ok. But I need to head work. Also, Taylor is staying with us for awhile. Taylor's parents will be staying with family." she spoke quickly, rushed because she need to leave.

"Um. Ok, I'll talk to you later." I say.

She leaned down and pressed a short kiss to my cheek, "Bye, hunny."

I turned back over in Taylor's embrace, going back to sleep as she left.

---------------

I was woken up by the sound of the door closing.

I opened my eyes, seeing Taylor's chest. I turned over with a struggle in his grip, seeing a nurse come in. It was a female, with long blonde hair and greens eyes. She had a wide face, tan skin, and dimples. She was smiling wide at Taylor and I.

"Hello, are you Taylor's girlfriend?" she whispered, rolling a cart over beside the bed.

I smiled, what was with people asking if we were a couple? Do we look like one?

"No, but almost. We have told each other how much we like each other but she still hasn't asked me to be his yet." I sigh, "Sorry for telling my love life. My pathetic love life." I laugh quietly, trying not to wake Taylor up.

She laughed quietly, "No, it's fine. And I don't think the love life of yours is going to be pathetic after he asks..." she smirks.

I groan at her remark, "Sure, sure."

"Ok, ok! I came to see if Taylor was awake to see if his breathing as improved a bit." she asked.

I nodded, when a warm hand wrapped around my waist.

"I'm awake." he said, his voice raspy with sleep. Taylor sat up, groaning. His hair was a mess, and he had lines on his skin from where the blankets were against his skin.

"Ok, Mr. Caniff, leave foreword." she spoke softly, putting the stethoscope (idk if that's what it's called. Its something scientific. Comment what it is if you know! Please inform me!) against his back, "Breathe in." Taylor inhaled, "Exhale." he breathed out, looking at me and smiling.

   I smiled back.

"Ok, well your heart sound good, no problems." she commented. He nodded.

"Ok, let's listen to your lungs."

He allowed her to press the stethoscope (Inform me!) against his chest, listening as he he breathed in and out.

"Ok, well, you breathing sounds completely normal. So you should be able to leave soon." she said, collecting everything then wheeling the cart out of the room.
