"Hmmm. How about you show me where all your classy or dressy clothes are, and then I find something for you to wear while you shower?" Ruby spoke.
I nod, walking towards my closet. Ruby followed close behind. I turned on the light, looking around.
"Well, you can pretty much find what ever you want in here. I don't mind..." I say.
She nods, as I walk out of my closet and into my bathroom.
I close the door behind me, locking it. I turned on the water, putting it on the hottest setting.
I striped out of my clothes, carefully laying Taylor's jacket on the counter.
I hoped into the shower, sighing at the heat. Less than a minute later, a knock sounded at the door.
"Ruby? What is it?" I yell.
"It's not Ruby! Open the door!" a male voice shouted. Taylor.
"Taylor?" I yell. Why is he back? Isn't he suppose to mysteriously leave and not return till the date?
"Yeah, open the door."
"I can't! I'm in the shower! And obviously I'm naked!" I shout again. I swear... He just doesn't understand!
The sound of a few clicks could be heard from the door. Is he picking the lock?!
The door swung open, cold air flowing into the bathroom. Chills were sent down my spine.
"Baby?" he asked, closing the door.
"What?!" I yell. Why did he have to come in here?! I'm still not completely comfortable like this around him. Plus, we aren't even together, so it feels odd.
"I'm going to need to change the time to 5:30, ok?" he said, opening the glass door of my shower.
I turned away from him, not wanting him to see me.
"Yeah. I hear you. I'll be ready by then. I promise."
"Marie. Are you alright?" he asks, concern woven in his voice.
"Fine."
He paused. "No, your acting odd. Like something you don't want is going to happen and your nervous. That's it! Your nervous?" he asked.
"No, not about the date. Well, kind of. But, I just don't feel comfortable with you looking at me like this..." I trail off.
"Marie? I saw you like this yesterday. You don't need to be nervous. Your beautiful. I promise. Anybody in the world would be lucky to have what you have. If you've got it, flaunt it." he said.
I turned around to see Taylor with only his head poked through the door and shower wall.
"I'll see you soon, princess." he hummed, closing the shower door.
"Good bye, peasant." I yell, laughing.
"Hey! No thats no fair!" he yelled back, laughing back.
"Sorry. Your not a prince. Yet." I say, grabbing the shampoo.
He chuckled, "Whatever. Bye."
"Bye!"
I wash my hair and my body, using coconut shampoo and conditioner, then coconut body wash. I shaved, then washed my face.
I got out, wrapping my body in my robe, then wrapping my hair in a towel, sitting it on my head.
I open the bathroom door, cold air flowing in once again. I walk into my closet to see Ruby standing in my closet holding a short tight black dress that fits tightly around my curves, then at the waist, goes out. It also had a white collar. At the floor by her feet she had plain white pumps.
