"William it's christmas and the staff are having a party do you want to go?" Grell asked

"No, I won't be going grell I have paperwork to do" I said

"You haven't gotten over it William it's been 8 months it's over their was no point in fighting for that girl" he said

"This fight was meaningless" he said

"Anyway this is for you I found it in Evangeline's apartment the day before her apartment was cleared out it the date was set for this christmas I thought you might want it" grell said placing the gift on my desk

My eyes widened

"Merry christmas William" he muttered as he left my office

I opened the present and their was a letter inside it it was addressed to: William

I opened the envelope

My dearest William:

"By the time you've read this I may have already died..."

"I wanted to thank you for making my life much more brighter than it used to be."

"I always thought I would die alone I didn't want to marry or have a relationship because I thought once I've died I'd hurt the one I love most it must be hard for you I promise my death was not in vain."

"I was truly happy when we were together I wanted our happiness to last forever but I guess it wants meantime be I'm sorry I hurt you sometimes I wished I hadn't met you...I wished I hadn't fallen in love with you if I knew it would end like this."

"So William... please smile for me kay? I wish you to find true happiness I want you to live on in this world and find your true love even if I die I promise I'll always look after you William, even If I died their will still be proof that our love did exist once no one can ever change that"

"Please don't blame yourself it wasn't your fault I knew this would eventually happen I didn't want to cause you any pain"

"Since I addressed this letter for christmas I thought it'd be nice to give you something to remember me by"

"I love you William, Merry Christmas"

I opened the present their was a ring underneath the word engraved were "always with you"

Their was a note attached to it

"This is for you William you said if we ran away we would get marry... but if It never happens please keep this it's for you to always remember to smile for me I love you William goodbye."

I held the ring tightly to my hand

I held the ring as I sobbed wishing for her to come back I couldn't be happy not if she was gone I would never be the same because she stole the one thing I could never get back... my heart

"Evangeline I'm sorry...I-I couldn't save you, our love should've never existed, forgive me for not being able to give you happiness" I sobbed

I cried myself to sleep that night I had a dream

Dream

I was in a field filled with colorful flowers wearing a white shirt and pants

"Where am I?"

"William!" A voice called

I looked around

"William!!" It called again

I turned around and saw Evangeline!!

"Evangeline!!" I called

She ran towards me I picked her up and kissed her she pulled away

"Your finally came!!" She said happily

"I missed you so much my love" I said

She ran towards the flowers off very far away

"Follow me William"

I followed her running to catch up with her

"C'mon we're almost there" she called

She grabbed my arm and ran besides me

"Where are we going?"

She turned around and smiled

"To find our happiness"
