It time to go back home, Annie said to her self ..... Have been here for just too long, she had a copy of her mother picture which she took with her everyday of her life... She looked at her mother in the picture and gave out a big sign of relief.
" oh mother, how which you were here with me, I have fulfilled my dream of becoming a medical doctor that we both wished for, but you are not just here to celebrate with me" at this time hot tears fell from her eyes, she cried like a ten years old..... Child But I promise you mum, I will find your killers even with the last drop of my blood.....
It was a cool evening, Annie got home early, only to find out that dinner was set outside, and all family members were invited..." What going on" Annie asked herself .." Hmmm, dinner has never been set outside except grandpa had something to say, well let me find out" .... Grandma !!! She cried out, she quickly went to give her grand mother a well warmed hug..... Annie loves her grand mum she sees her late mum in her, also Mrs Tina, who is her grand mum loves her incredible and showers her with so much affection, right from the first day she met her, she made Annie feel loved, because she knew deep down, she never shown it to her own daughter before she met her untimely death......
Oh such a long story, back to what I was writing......" Grand ma please tell me, what is happening ? I think today is going to be very red, she shrieked ...." Oh dear, replied Mrs Tina, yes dear grandpa has something to say to all of us" she cut her grand mother short " all of us" that means including me she said, " of course dear " or are you not part of this family ? Dear, the information grand pa is going to share together is going to affect each and everyone of us..... Baby she called out, and she touched Annie smooth black beautiful face, I love you my dear, we all do...... Just do your best and let go of the past...... Keep your mother past off your head...." And please be a good girl that you always are......
" Grand ma but am a good girl? Or am I not? Of course dear " you are and you always will be" ...... Soon grand pa came in looking well dressed , he saw us but passed like he didn't , I and grandpa had never been close, I believe that he never liked me and saw me as a big burden... But I never really cared , in fact I never really liked him, but deep down I knew I cared for him....
Dinner, was set and I saw my uncles, aunties, niece, and nephews troop out of the house, like people going to do some shopping..... So they are even here too, well I think this dinner is going to be something, she mumbled ...... She took her seat, and sat comfortably .. Dinner was a very quiet one as everyone had different opinions of what this dinner was going to be all about ... Annie always saw her self looking at her uncle , well she feels he was looking at her too.... Fred has never liked Annie , not once in his life he saw her as a manipulator, a goal digger in fact you just name it...... He knew his father loved Annie, and he was scared his father might just wake up one morning and give all his wealth to her, that he feared so much......
Grand pa broke the silence, when he cleared his throat and began
"
Children, grand children , and my lovely wife.. I want to tell each and everyone of you that soon enough we would be going back to Nigeria and I have already made all the required preparations ...... The family business too is going to be handled by trusted colleagues of mine..... I don't want any comment or remarks from any of you.... I have made my final decision.....and that is it.....
" well grandpa interrupted Annie, I don't have any thing to say regarding what you have just said.... But u have a question to ask you...." Go on dear, what might that be? I need the test result ?
Puzzled by the question, " What test result might that be? Asked Mr Fred..... " grandpa you know what am talking about, the next day my mother died, you did...... Hold it there ,stop it already....
Everyone on the dinning table, was shocked by what was happening ,
