The Strategy

It was nine pm, when Annie decided to carry out her mission, she was now not the only left in the house. Fred had employed a nanny and watch guard in the house that would be in charge of cleaning and watching out for thieves ......

It at first didn't bother Annie, but it was when she found out that her grand pa room was where the watch man stayed all day, she gave it a second thought ....

" Does this mean that , my uncle knows I want to get something from grandpa room and he sent this man to watch over the room"

This really bothered her, but she decided to act normally and pretend all is well..... She left her room and headed to her grand pa room, it was a different location from hers, she claimed the stairs leading to grandpa room, and immediately the watch man by name Francis saw her, he gave her a look that sent cold through her spine, but she pretended as if nothing, not to give the man a look that he has won.....

Finally, she got to the room door, and as she was about opening the door, Francis shouted at her....

" Hey girl, who gave you the right to open that door? He asked her with anger in his eyes"

" well answered Annie, this is my grand pa room and I have all the right to be in here, and who gave you to the right to stop me? Are u crazy or something she charged back?
Shocked and surprised by Annie who had a quiet face response, he fell short of words, and instead of shouting back at her, he felt pity for her.... So she is the Annie, he said in his thoughts, she is just a bold beautiful young woman, "

" well, he said you have no right to get into this room or you have permission from my boss, Sir Fred he shouted .....

" what shouted Annie, you mean he stopped me from entering this room? she  asked him, "

" Yes he replied and now get out from here , he shouted at her...."

" please please she begged I really need to get something from this room it is very very important, my life depend on it, she cried...."

"  Am indeed so sorry, but there is nothing I can do to help you in this case, my life also depends on it..."

With a sorrowful heart, Annie left thinking of her strategy , she knew she had no power to fight her uncle, but she knows she sure has something to use to get what she wants, and what is that it is nothing but her brains.........

It was 11pm sharp in the midnight, when Annie heard a knock in her door, fear ran through her spine.... She quickly held her Bible , prayed a fervent prayer, before she got the boldness to ask who was at her door... She feared it was her uncle that wants to kill her or even the watch man, until she heard her cousin voice Susan ...

"Annie it me Susan, she said come and open this door for me she beckoned on her....." " oh Susan are you sure that you? She asked with fear in her voice........

" yes it me and me alone "
Okay am coming , Annie then finally went and opened the door for her cousin.

Susan was indeed drunk and was smelling badly of alcohol. Immediately she got into the room she fell straight on Annie bed, giving the poor Annie much work to do..... Annie felt pity for her cousin, they were both the same age, but Susan has made nothing out of her life, she is actually a bone in the neck of grandpa and her parents, she refused going to the university, and when she finally went, she joined enormous bad gang, she was introduced into the life of smoking, drinking , following men and all sorts of bad vices....

Annie, saw how peacefully her cousin slept, but she knew she has lots of questions to ask her, she missed her child hood life, and immediately thought of her best friend back in Nigeria, she missed the peaceful life she and her late mum lived and wished she was not the only one her mother had....but  that by the way, that how  God wants it she concluded and made way for her in the bed so she can sleep and strategize for her new plans.....
