Rowan's pov
I was fighting the crew member who were guarding Aelin, when Cairn steps out showing himself. I snarl, and snap the neck or the guard in front of me. I charge after Cairn, and begin a new fight.
Minutes go by, and we take turns taking hits from eachother. Suddenly, we all hear a 'click' sound, and we all stop, and turn to the coffin, which opens with a gush of wind and heat.
There, standing in the coffin, is Aelin......and, shes......pregnant.
Minutes of silence go by, and Aelin opens her turquoise Ashryver eyes, and already, a fire is stirring, and has a well know wicked grin plastered to her face.
She looks around, taking in the scene, then turns, and sees Maeve. Aelin snarls, and her grin grows vicious, she begins to stalk toward Maeve, who is backing away, trying to put distance between her and the beast that had been unleashed. Maeve, for the first time since i was unbound from her, was horrified of Aelin, and the power that was stirring around the two of them.
Manon stepped behind Maeve, and held her where she was as Aelin stalked forward, to destroy her new found prey.
