after the girls left elizabeth and lucas to be alone the pair awkwardly looked at on another waiting for someone to say something.
sure they were closer than ever but that was over the phone. now that the two are face to face they have nothing to say.
el turned to face lucas who seemed to be in deep thought.
"hey." el spoke up after being tired of the silence.
"hi." lucas smiled finally facing her.
the pair went back to not saying anything. they sat beside each other until lucas decided to speak after what felt like an eternity.
"i like you el, i like you a lot and for the past three months i haven't said anything to you because i've been thinking that this thing would be bad. although the more i thought about it the less crazy the idea seemed. so yeah, i fucking like you." lucas let out a deep sigh before looking at a startled elizabeth.
lucas started to get up so he could leave el alone. he thought to himself he said the wrong think or that she lost feelings over the three month period.
but that wasn't the case as elizabeth reached for lucas hand and turned him around.
lucas tilted his head, confused as ever, before el held his face in her hands and instantly connected their lips.
el's head was spinning. this wasn't her first kiss but it's felt like she's never been kissed before, like all the kisses before this meant nothing.
elizabeth pulled back smiling at lucas, who's eyes were still closed.
"i like you too ya dork. so will you be my boyfriend." el gave lucas the cheesiest smile she could make.
"of course i'll be your boyfriend princess." he held her face, squishing her face together as she let out an unfamiliar noise.
el's eyes widened, "i just snorted." she threw her head back laughing, eventually falling back on the bed.
lucas shook his head joining his new found girlfriend on her bed looking up the ceiling. their hands touched until elizabeth interlocked their fingers.
"so this is what it's like to date you, huh. i gotta say robinson you're kinda boring." lucas laughed before getting off the bed to sit up.
"hey take that back." she jumped on his back and wrapped her arms loosely on his neck so she wouldn't fall.
lucas jumped up trying to scare el. he then ran out of her room and down the stairs.
"let's go do something." el said quietly.
they walked into the living, "we're going to get ice cream, also we're dating bye."
el waved to her shocked friends and brother before lucas bolted out of the apartment with elizabeth now running beside him.

the pair were now seated at a table outside the little ice cream shop they decided to go to. both their phones were blowing up of messages from their friends asking millions of questions.
they stayed unbothered licking away at their ice cream and talking about how el recently started a new netflix series. at this point she didn't know why netflix didn't just sponsor her due how much time she spend there.
"okay so this girl kate is a sophomore and she's into girls right, but she's closeted and decides to date this freshman, luke to stay closeted."
"wait what show, you never actually told me."
el smacks her forehead as lucas just smiles at how deep into conversation she sometimes gets into.
"everything sucks. we have to watch together okay?"
"of course. lets go back to your place then."
lucas stood up from his chair extending out his free hand so he could hold elizabeth's.
when they got back to the robinson residence nick was the first face they saw. his emotions were hard to read but he pulled the two teenagers in for a slightly awkward hug. soon enough camren and amybeth joined in on the awkward hug.
as they pulled away nick was the first to speak, "so you guys are actually dating."
"yup."
"see i told you nick, they weren't lying. guess who owes me ten dollars."
"shut up davis." nick rolled his eyes at his little sisters friend as he passed her a ten dollar bill.
"so are y'all going to confirm it to the fans?" amybeth asked genuinely concerned knowing that that could go either really good or really bad.
"soon enough and they already think we're dating so."
"hey wanna watch the video from when you guys first met because i called this."
el punched her friend lightly nodding her head though wanting to see this video.
