Chapter 5 : Reaction

I left Koby's house and as I got onto the street I heard a large growl. I put it off but it was just Koby changing into his hound form. Before I went to Charlie's I stopped by my place to tell my parents where I was going and an excuse of why I stayed late at school. Charlie's house isn't far from mine but I took my bike anyhow. When I got to Charlie's there were no vehicles there but the front door was wide. I knocked and yelled to your reply. I did it again I'm from inside I could hear a male scream. It had sounded like her brother Trey. Trey is a senior in our high school and he's always been stuck up about himself. Although I didn't really care for him I opened the screen door and ran in. Train was cuddled up in a corner softly whimpering. "I never thought I'd see the great Trey crying" I said half laughing. Trey pointed behind me and mumbled one single word "monster". I turned around and a hair faced creature met my eyes. "Charlie is that you" the Beast grew tense and a small voice arose. "What happened to me" it was Charlie's faint voice I could tell. "I guess now's The best time ever to tell you this but unfortunately" I mumbled my words a bit. "We are hell hound hybrids". Charlie grew even more tense and stood there in silence. "What in the goddamn hell is going on here and what has the Beast done with my sister" Trey now standing in the corner. "This is still your sister she's just going through a very weird girl phase right now" I replied to Trey's question trying to mislead his mind. "Bullshit that's not the truth I want the goddamn truth and I want it right here right now" Charlie growled and  I held her back. Charlie's eyes went from red back to normal and the hair on her body disappeared. "What the hell Meg" her brother's stared at me furiously. "Charlie go get your things you need to live with now" I demanded her and she nodded walking off to her room. "Trey I'm sorry but your sister isn't human anymore and neither am I we gotta run and hide or we could end up dead" Trey's mouth dropped and then it grew to a smirking nod. "Fine but I'm coming with you there is no way I'm going to let my little sister be in danger without me there with her". "Fine then you best go get everything you need but it isn't just us three and I'll explain that later now just go and be prepared for anything evenly possible cuz this is not a joke" train on it at me then went to his room and a few minutes later both him and Charlie came back.
