Ch 8

(Lucy POV)

It's currently Wednesday and nothing much has changed this past week except for the fact that Natsu, Laxus, and Gajeel now drive us to school. Now that they've heard what almost happened to me, they drive Mira and Levy to school, same with Natsu and I. I got over the fact that Natsu kissed my cheek on Monday, because now that I think about it, it was probably just a friendly one 'cause he was sorry. Whatever, right now, I'm eating dinner with my parents in the small dining room. As I was taking a gulp of water,

"Lucy, the Dragneels and us have decided on the date of your wedding with Natsu." Said dad.

I then, choked on my water, spitting some back in the cup. What did he just say?!

"Lucy, I hope your not like this around other people." Scolded mum.

"As I was saying,"said dad, "your wedding day will be held this weekend on Saturday."

WHAT THE HELL!!!

"That early!" I exclaimed. "Yes, it's better to get it over with. Also, once your both married, you'll be living together in a small a apartment to get to know each other more." Said mom. Isn't this going a little fast?! I just found out last weekend, that I'm getting married to the guy who got the whole school to bully me, and this weekend is when I do! What the hell! I stormed up to my room and called Mira and Levy.

'Hey Lu, Mira!'
'Hi! So, what's up Lucy?'
'Are you guys busy this Saturday?'
'Yeah, actually I was supposed to babysit a little girl. Auska was her name I think.'
''Me too, Gajeel asked me out on a date!!'
'Oh...'
'Sorry Lu...'
'Me too...'
'It's fine. You'll just be missing my wedding day that's all."
'...'
'...'
'Um, hello?'
'EEEEE!!! DON'T WORRY LUCY!! LEVY AND I WILL CANCEL OUR PLANS PRONTO!! BYE!'
'SEE YA LU!'
*BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP

Well then...

The next day Levy, Mira and I were all talking about the wedding at break time under the cherry blossom tree outside in the yard. Well actually, I was talking while they were squealing until...

"Hey, what are you two squealing about? More specifically, why are you hanging out with this blonde bimbo?" Sneered a female voice behind me. Levy and Mira stopped and glared a the person behind me. I sighed and turned around to see Lisanna and her friends. Crap...

She then signalled to her friends something, and they appeared behind Mira and Levy, grasping their arms securely. Then, the rest of her friends-which were three to be exact-started throwing punches at me, knocking me to the ground. They then, stared to kick me repeatedly over and over again making bruises all over me. Mira and Levy where screaming for help as they continued to beat me. Suddenly, the kicking stopped and I felt a pair of warm, muscular arms lift me from the ground. I instantly recognized the warm scent of cinnamon. It was Natsu.I blacked out.

I woke up from a bright light shining through my eyelids. I snapped my eyes open, and realized I was in the schools infirmary, only in my underwear and bra. "Wow bunny girl, you sure wake up creepily." I heard a gruff voice chuckle. I snapped my head in that direction and saw Gajeel smirking at me. I sat up looking around the room and saw everyone staring at me. There was Gajeel, Laxus, Mira and Levy balling their eyes out, Ms Porlyusica, and finally... Natsu.

"Oh Lucy We're so happy you're okay!" Cried Mira and Levy as they tackled me in a huge bear hug. "Of course she's okay! I told you she would be! I don't see why she wouldn't!" Snapped Ms Porlyusica, "Stupid humans..." She mumbled. Then, what is she?!

When Mira And Levy finally let go of me, I turned my gaze to Natsu. He was staring at me. He walked over, sat on the side of the bed and hugged me-burying his face in the crook of my neck inhaling my sent, also covering me from the over guys. "We'll leave you two be." Said Mira as she pushed everyone out. "I'm sorry..." he said, "If I weren't for me, this wouldn't have happened to you." He apologized sincerely, looking me in the eyes. "Hey, it wasn't your fault! They were the one beating me. Not you." I said. For some reason, it pains me to see him this way.
"Yeah but I was the one who got the whole school to hate you. I'm sorry." "Stop apologizing! It wasn't your fault!" He sighed in defeat and hugged me again, kissed my cheek, and left the room.

They next day, which was a Thursday, I didn't go to school. Neither did Levy and Mira. We were currently in the back of the limo, driving to the destination to Natsu and I's wedding. Mum and dad thought it would be cute if we got married where they did, so that's where we're headed off to. It's takes about a day to get there, unlike Mr and Mrs Dragneels, it would take a plane to go where they married. So, we just stuck with the closer option.

Levy, Mira, Wendy and I, were all in the back of the limo playing board games and chatting, while Natsu and I's parents were more up front talking about boring stuff that nobody cares about. Natsu was on his motorcycle and so were his buddies, Gray and his girlfriend Juvia, Laxus, and Gajeel.

When we arrived, after a few stops at restaurants, we entered a grande hotel. Mum was busy renting the rooms while the rest of us were waiting in the waiting rooms while keeping ourselves busy with our phones.

"I'm back!" Exclaimed mum. She then handed us our keys. She put us all in pairs. She handed a key to Levy for her and Mira to share, Gray and Juvia, Laxus and Gajeel, Natsu's parents with Wendy, and finally, Natsu and I. I sighed, she wanted this to happen.
