Ch 14

(Natsu POV)

I pulled her close and wrapped my arms around her petite waist for a hug. Sh*t, I probably scared her. I seriously shouldn't have yelled at her, she really needs a break from all this. She gave in after a few seconds, returning the hug, burying her face in my scarf-which I find adorable.

Geez, I'm turning into a softie. Just the thought makes me want to gag. But the thought of Lucy being afraid of me makes me want to die-not literally but you get my point.

I pulled my hand up to the side of her face and brushed some hair behind her ear revealing her neck. Before I knew it, I was already giving her small loving pecks on her neck, also inhaling her sweet strawberry scent that drives me crazy. I stopped, realizing what I was doing and let go taking a few steps back. She was looking at me wide eyed while still sitting on the counter top of the sink where I put her, with a huge blush on her soft cheeks. What the f*ck did I just do!!?? I so fricken stupid!! Now she's probably terrified of me!! What do I do?!

"U-uh, sorry! I'll just leave now!" I said nervously while leaving before she could say anything. I went to the door to exit the appartement and slipped on my boots and leather jacket. I slipped a gun in my pocket and left-locking the door also.

I walked heavily to my motorcycle in anger and hopped on. I took off not knowing where I was going, also not caring either. I ended up stopping at my favourite bar. I hopped off my bike and began heading towards the entrance but suddenly, two ugly guys came up to me blocking the way in trying to act all tough while smirking...I smirked back. This is gonna get real ugly. Not for me, but for them.

"We saw you with that blonde chick. She's pretty hot~" Said one of the two men. My blood started to boil.

"Let's make a deal," started the other guy, "we're gonna fight you, whoever wins gets the girl, whoever loses treats the winner to however many drinks they want."

Bastards.

I came at them balling my fists, punching the guy on the left in the head. The guy beside him was no longer there...he's behind me, I feel it. While the guy in front of me is still in shock, I turn on my foot lifting my right leg and kicked the other guy in the gut. He toppled over on the pavement holding his stomach, I turn around again just as the other guy is about to lay a hit on me. I dodge it and punch his gut, he bends over and I take this chance to elbow him hard on the back.

Eventually, I ended up beating these losers. I won but I don't think I'll be getting any free drinks. I checked there pockets, and there was no sign of wallets or money. I sighed, they deserve it. No one talks about my wife like that.

(Lucy POV)

I enter through the school gates rushing to get to class. I only have a few minutes before it starts so right now I'm running. I still have to grab my books so I'm guaranteed to be late.

I arrive at the door of the class I'm supposed to be in with the books in hand. I take a few seconds to catch my breath from all the running I've been doing today, and turn the silver knob to open the door. I open the door ajar and peek through. I hear Mr Gildarts sigh and open the door all the way letting me in. I take a few steps inside while the whole class is looking at me. I stand in front of the class with Mr Gildarts. I see that Natsu isn't here, he didn't come back last night after what happened. I hear a lot of snickering and whispers which makes me a whole lot more nervous.

"So, any explanation as to why you're late Mrs Dragneel?" He said.
