Ch 5

(Lucy POV)

We entered the living room and took a seat on a couch.

Mr and Mrs Dragneel sat on the one closest to the small black lamp, while mum and dad sat on the one across. Wendy went back to her room I think. I sat on the one behind them. I fiddled with my phone playing candy crush while they talked until I suddenly got a text from Levy.

Are you busy tomorrow at 3? I'd like to hang out at the Café downtown.

Hmmm...I need to ask mum and dad. I looked over the couch to mum and dad and interrupted them with Mr and Mrs Dragneel. "Hey mum, can I go to the downtown café tomorrow with Levy at three?" "Oh but sweetie, we're going dress shopping tomorrow for the wedding." "Oh..." Damn I forgot about that... "Maybe you could ask your friends to come along? They're very trustworthy." Suggested dad. "I guess...ya I'll call them." I just have to text back Levy.

Hey Lev, sorry I won't be able to. BUT there's still a way for us to be together...

What do u mean???

I'm gonna call u, then Mira. There's something important I need to tell you both.

Ya! Of course lu!

K hang on.

I got up and went back downstairs outside and dialled Levy's number. I hope she'll take this well...

"Hello? Lu?"

"Ya hey Lev..."

"So what was that super important thing you wanted to tell Mira and I?!!"

Oh geez...

"I'm in an arranged marriage with Natsu and I was hoping you and Mira would come and help me choose a wedding dress tomorrow." Holy crap.. I actually said that... oh lev please don't be mad!!

"....."

"Um..Lev?"

"OH MY MAVIS!!! I NEED TO TELL MIRA!! AND OF COURSE WE'll DRESS SHOPPING WITH YOU!!! OH MY MAVIS YOU HAVE A LOT OF EXPLAINING TO DO!!!

I nearly dropped my phone from how loud she was yelling...

"Ok so you'll tell her for me then?"

"YES!!"

"Ok see you tomorrow at three then. I'll stop by in the limo to pick you guys up k?"

"Sounds great, by lu!"

"Cya, Lev!"

Wow she took that a lot better than I thought she would.

I went back to the living room where mum, dad, Mr, and Mrs Dragneel were. Mum noticed me and asked, "So are they coming?" "Yep." "Hey Lucy, how about I call Natsu? You must be bored senseless, while he's out and about on his motorcycle, while we told him we had another meeting today." Sighed Mrs Dragneel "Uhhh no, that won't be necessary! I'm perfectly fine! Thank you though!" I quickly replied. No no no no no! I can't face him!! "Well, too bad I'm here." Said a voice behind me. Crap that must be him...

I turned around and sure enough, it was... damn it. "Oh Natsu you're back!" Exclaimed Mrs Dragneel walking up to him and hugging him. "Ya Gray had to leave early." He said while hugging back. Mrs Dragneel let go and turned to me. "Why don't you let Natsu take you to his room? She asked me. "I'm sure he wouldn't mind." She said while glaring at him. He just rolled his eyes in response. "Uh nope I'm fine here! Thank you." I turned to my parents. They were glaring at me! "Hmph, she's always declining." Huffed Mrs Dragneel to herself while crossing her arms. I sighed in defeat and walked up to Natsu-not too close though! He smirked and began walking down the hallway with me following. Oh Mavis, what is he thinking!

We entered his room and he sat on the bed. I just stood in the doorway like the awkward dork I am, as I looked around. It looked nice. It wasn't really what I expected it to be, but it was nice. "Are you just gonna stand there like an idiot or, are you coming in?" He asked annoyed while looking up from his phone.
OMG HE'S MAD AT ME WHAT DO I DO!! I hesitantly took a few more steps inside and looked at him. After a few minutes of standing there in silence I decided to make the first move to start a conversation. Ok, I can do this. "U-um thank you for Uh, yesterday." Omg I stuttered! I'm so pathetic!!😭. He grunted in response. DAH HELL! After all that effort I put into talking to him, he grunts like it was nothing! I'm internally crying right now! Not really, but you get my point.

So, I continued to stand there like a complete dork until my parents called me to come down so we could leave. I turned to the doorway and ran out like the speed of light to the limo.

Time skip (dress shopping)——————

So, here I am in a wedding store with Levy, Mira, Mum, Mrs Dragneel, and Wendy. I chose Levy and Mira to be the bridesmaids and I kinda had no choice to pick Wendy, but I don't mind, she's adorable. I chose Levy to be maid of honour because we've been best friends since like third grade.
