***ANNA's POV***

I'm sure, we can all agree with something here. We have all had our own fair share of Fairytales. We've all watched Cinderella, Snow White and other princesses have their story end with the perfect guy interlocked on their lips. Now, don't be shy, we all have also fantasized about our own princes and princesses coming right? Well, I sure have.

'So, highschool huh.' I thought to myself.

I usually get really excited when the school year begins. But now I just feel like it's gonna be another boring year. My mom says it's adolescence but who really knows. The moment I got into my classroom, I scanned the room for nice friendly faces. Cute boys, Good friends and the teacher. Huh, figures. I looked at the back and there, I froze. I saw the cutest and I mean cutest boy in the room.

As my eyes feasted on him, I captured a moment where he looked adoringly handsome as he was hanging his arm around his friend's shoulder laughing, I helped myself around his face. His smile exposing his well-lined teeth and healthy laughter. His now chingky eyes only revealing cresent portions of deep blue. His hair held back with his other hand showed dark brown highlights that looked splendid on him. He was seated so I couldn't make much of his build. I guess that'll be all...for now. *wink*

Of course, every new school year starts with a little introduction. The Adviser was still young and quite annoying in a way. She had that "dumb-blond" attitude. Her eyebrows were about 90% pencil and her face was covered in foundation. You can tell her smile is just for show because you don't see a smile in her eyes. But it didn't really matter. As long as she's not some strict yapper it's gonna be fine. Like the average teacher, she initiated the 'getting-to-know-each other' phase of the class.

"Good Morning, Everyone! My name is Lillie Pleo. You can call me Ms Pleo or Lillie, which ever you prefer. Now, I think we are all dying to know each other, right?" she joyfully said then winked at the cute boy at the back. Wait, did she just flirt with a kid?! I looked back trying to see what his reaction would be after that not-so-old lady winked at him. He sort of just laughed and high-fived his seatmate. Seemed like an old friend of his. My attention was diverted back to Ms Pleo after she cleared her throat. Looks like I wasn't the only one who looked at who she was winking at. "...so let's start with you." she pointed to the short troublesome looking girl at the rightmost front corner of the classroom.

The names trailed on forever! There was a Karen, a Chester, a Margaret, an Ian, and a lot of other names I couldn't keep up with. I was so busy thinking of what the cute guy's name would be that I spaced out. I didn't realize that it was my turn. I stood up, straightened my back and walked forward.

"Hello. My name is Anna Carter. Let's just keep everything else about me a secret because I'm gonna be the most boring person you're ever going to meet anyway so --" I was cut off because someone raised his hand. The guy from the back.

"Yes?" Ms Pleo called him in my behalf.

"Uhh, hey Anna, wouldn't it have been a little more exciting if you kept your name a secret as well?" he smiled. I choked.

Well, I had to give him my answer right?

"Well, there'd be the class record, and my name's right outside that door thanks to the class arrangements. ya'll are gonna know my name one way or another right? But my background is somethin' different. And I don't wanna be treated differently just because of what and how I am who I am anyway. So may I continue now?" I answered without catching my breath.

He sank in his seat smirking and nodding. What was that all about?

"So, as I was saying I--" I was cut off again by his raised palm in the air. I gestured for him to talk and he stood up.
