***ANNA's POV***
I stared off into space after Kevin pulled away. The ice melted, and so did my heart. Kyle was free, and Kevin out of sight.
"That stupid, good for nothing traitor!" Kyle exclaimed.
I was just standing there. Eyes blank.
"He knows...he knows about who I am" I thought in horror.
"Anna!" Kyle called out reaching for my face.
Feeling his warm hands on my cheeks, I immediately stared straight into his eyes. He was worried. Without another word, he hugged me, took my hand and sent me home.
I didn't sleep well that night. If Kevin knew who I was and where I was from, he might send me back. I didn't want that. My life as a princess was not a life anyone should have. Which is why I took Arlene with me. And another thing is I should stay away from the McFiddles. For one reason, I don't want to break my sister's heart when and if she sees me with Kyle. For another, Kevin is dangerous.
No. I kept repeating in my head.
I will stay away from them from now on.
Then I closed my eyes.

I woke up like nothing really happened. I managed to recover from yesterday's events.
"Hey, sweetie. Rise and shine!" My dad peered at the door.
It made my day. I smiled and nodded.
My phone vibrated from my lamp table. I reached out to grab it making an effort to keep my head stuck on my pillow, and tilted the phone I was able to grab so I can see who was calling. The number wasn't registered in my phone.
When I hurriedly got up to answer the call, it ended just before my thumb could touch the answer button. Then my main screen went back into view. My messaging and phone icons had a red bubble attached to them telling me I had 213 unread messages and 39 missed calls. It shocked me. As I remember that I gave none my number. I tapped on the icons to see who it was and as I scrolled down, I observed that it all came from the same number. When I was finally through, I decided to call back but whoever it was beat me to it. My phone was vibrating again with the same number on the screen. Without hesitation, I swiped the answer button and put the phone beside my ear.
"Who is thi- "
"FINALLY! Do you do this to all your suitors? Seriously Anna, stop playing hard to get!" I heard from the other line.
I knew who it was.
"Kevin, stay away." I said abruptly.
"No way. I ain't goin' away after driving 72 miles to get here." He replied.
"What? What do you mean 'here'?" I asked in confusion.
"Look outside your window." He replied. Even through the phone you can tell he's putting on that arrogant smirk.
"I'm not wearing no smirk, An. Now look." He said.
So without taking the receiver off my ear, I stood up and headed for my window. I pushed the curtains aside, and sure enough, he was down there. Looking at me from beside his black, shiny Ferrari.
"Anna, darling!" Dad called out from downstairs. "There's this guy outside looking up to your window. Is he some kind of pervert?"
"He's her boooyfriend!" Arlene teased.
"He is not! He's a friend dad!" I called back covering my phone's microphone. But what's the use? He can hear my mind.
I uncovered the mic.
