***KEVIN's POV***

I think I'll go to the clinic. I need to get some aspirins.

As I was roaming the hallways going to the clinic, my mind rang. I can hear someone coming. But not in footsteps. There weren't any footsteps at all. But, I can hear their mind.

'I need to take Anna home. She looks so weak. I have to make sure she's safe.' It's Kyle.

I ran to his direction. And found Anna with her back against me and Kyle in front of her.

"Kevin!" My little brother moved his gaze from Anna to me. And Anna looked back.

'It was that funky dude from the 10th grade corridor.' She thought. So she thought I was funky. I consider that a compliment.

"Hey lil' bro." I replied.

'Wait, lil' bro? Are they related?' Anna's thoughts caught my attention. She didn't know me huh? Well, then.

Let's see who she is. She looks weak. And in the condition she's in right now, she won't be able to resist.

When my eyes change color, it changes the mood of whoever is looking into my eyes. Every color has its own mood.

I changed my naturally forest green eyes to gold. Gold messes with my prey's brain. Allows them to notice what situation they're in, but unable to think.

Then as she was lost in the situation. I cast sensitive ice on her feet that would rise at movement. Then I changed my eye colour again to purple. Purple disorients the brain creating a confusing background. She will feel as if no one else was here. And when I saw her look around, I was sure she was seeing a different background now.

And I took the chance to restrain Kyle. I wrapped him in glass. Covering everything but his nose.

"No...NO! KEVIN! STO--" Were the last words we heard until he was completely restrained.

'Bullshit Kevin! I know you can read my mind! Let us go now!' He thought.

'Shut it. Just enjoy the show' I thought back, smirking at him.

"What is this?!" I turned my attention back to Anna who was trying to break the ice.

"Stop struggling. It'll only grow if you do that" I grinned.

The look on her face was priceless! There's nothing more pleasurable to watch than a gorgeous girl beg for her safety.

I couldn't hold it. I had to see her life.

I dashed in front of her. Nearly touching her lips.

I was starting to scan her memories.

**ANNA's MEMORIES**

"Mom, I don't want this! I want to live a normal life! You should understand! You're my mom!" Anna yelled in front of her mother and father inside the throne room.

"Melissa, what have you done to our daughter? You have spoiled her! I trusted you to discipline her for her princess duties!" King Cornelius hysterically yelled at his beautiful crying wife.

Queen Melissa approached Anna and hugged her.

"Darling, you are going to rule this kingdom someday. With this war going on, we might not be here long enough until you turn eighteen." Queen Melissa sobbed, stroking her daughter's back and hair.

"Well, I never wanted to be a princess!" Anna shouted pulling away from her mother's arms and ran to her room.

"What's wrong?" Anna heard from the bed.

There lay her twin sister Princess Arlene reading a book faced down on the bed holding her chin up with her right hand and lifting both her feet in the air.

"Arlene," Anna called out sobbing. "Let's run away."

*********

"Oh," I spoke after reading her pitiful past. "So, you're a princess, eh?"

Her eyes widened with shock.

'What? How did he know that?' She asked herself in panic.

"Because I can read your mind." I grinned.

"I know your past. I know your present life, about your little sister falling in love with yours, and the best part about this is, I can tell you your future." I informed her.

"Wha-how can you--" She stammered.

"Haven't you heard? I'm the McFiddle Genius!" I bragged "But I won't tell you anything unless you want me to" I arrogantly said.

"I can tell you everything you want to know actually” I murmured playfully holding the lotsaloag ball of power. "Like how your birth parents would react if they found you in the city living a low life after running away from the palace? Oh, Princess Anna, tisk, tisk, you are a bad princess running away from your people."

She cried.

I don't know why, but now, I feel bad.

I only wanted to play with her. Not make her cry.

I feel bad. I feel really really bad.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I was only teasing" I said in a playful tone, but I meant it. I was sorry.

I sighed.

Yup, that's right. I know this feeling. I've been the cause of women's tears for a long time, but I didn't always feel bad. Yeah, I've got it bad.

"I guess you're lucky," I said, not happy at my epiphany.

I should tell her. I won't lose anything in doing this.

I went near her.

And kissed her.

I haven't felt like this for a long time.

She's the one. It's her. Finally.

I was so caught in the moment that I didn't notice I was crying.

'Kevin, you son of a--!' Kyle thought strong enough that I was able to hear it without reading his mind.

I pulled away and leaned my forehead on hers. I whispered a little healing spell I learned from the family doctor and her bump disappeared.

"I really have to look out for you Anna. I haven't really done that with the other girls." I whispered after pulling away from the kiss. My forehead still on hers. "Consider yourself lucky, Princess Annastasia de la Rossa Beatnida Carteranos. The McFiddle family line's genius, Kevin Figaro McFiddle...is hopelessly in love with you."
