Chapter One
The creative and swift event decorators are long gone leaving their alluring magic onto the Hamdani House. Now, only the family members are left to get ready. They are so involved in teasing each other, having fun, preparing songs for intense Dholki war tonight that they have forgotten to slip into the fancy attires and put gels and make up on.
"Enough, children." Dada Jan, the heart of family issues his final order.
"Dadu, I am winning, please." Khushi Hamdani begs, not wanting to leave the game, knowing her victory is at approximately two turns far.
"Nah, Bacha..." Dada Jaan sweetly rejects the plea.
"Khushi, stop this immediately. Otherwise we will get late." Her mother, Mrs. Yasmeen Yousaf Hamdani, scolds her child.
Whilst the Khushi was being scolded, her mate cousins went through their turns, killing her coin at right outside the entrance of her home. Oh no, she only needed six numbers. On top, it was her last one to take home.
Smirking, she jumbles all the coins and bats eyes at her mother.
To be saved from the smacks and hits, she covers up, "The game was going long, we will play later, mates." She knows the words game.
Her cousins argue but she hushes them by triggering the lust of victory. They have got to be called the best bride team. So, they all scurry to their rooms.
She laughs hard as she heavily sighs against the closed door. She is not a drama girl but a patient girl with humorous mind. The potentiality to turn the problems into the positive angle keeps you blessed with the permanent soft smile.
Now, she can easily and quickly get ready. Well, despite being form an Upper Class Family, she has not booked appointment at parlor for Dholki. She is herself perfect in Makeup and Hairstyle category. Why would she waste time in coming and going parlor? Although the booking for Mehendi, Baraat and Reception is done. She surely would not exhaust herself on next events if the time goes short like today.

The sudden chaos has caused more of nervousness and time wastage. Thankfully, the bride is decked and seated in her room. She will make appearance after the arrival of groom side.
She blushes looking at herself in the mirror at right side. The color of husband's love is eminently glowing on her face. And why not? He has been paying her chivalry from past thirty days.
Outside, in the wide and vast lawn, the swing, chairs, decks, lights and many other decorative items are embellished with flowers making the aura more sizzling. The setup is for almost 500 people.
The Dholki was initiated a month prior to actual wedding date but mostly there were family members and neighbors in evening get-togethers.
The real fun will be tonight. The perk of couple being in Nikah added ease into the Joint Dholki event.
The Hamdanis and Meers have cordial relation of years as neighbors and business partners. Later, their residence got some distance in between due to shifting in new homes.
The mothers of both homes were childhood best friends and so we can say this relation goes four decades back.
The guests have occupied the most of the seats but the actual function was yet to start. Taking the quick decision, Mrs. Yasmeen, sets the girls in a circle giving them two Dholkis. They start to beat it pairing it with songs as guests keep conversing, some praising the décor, some pointing out deficiencies.
