"The bet is on then?"
"What if I win?"
"The looser will be yours."
"How?"
What would happen to the soared love of Arnav Raza Meer and Khushi Yousaf Hamdani if the family traditions go against them?
The scary thing is what would happen if Khushi Hamd...
The calm and sunny morning is as usual hectic for the family which has a wedding going on.
The clock's grip is tightening around Mrs. Yasmeen's neck with every tick. It is half past nine and her kids are still at home and breakfast is also unpacked.
"Bano, be quick." She requests the senior maid.
"In which bowl would Nihari go?" The helping girl asks.
"Take the two blue bowls with fix lids. And be quick." Yasmeen stands up herself to plastic coat the plates of Salad especially chopped ginger and green chilies with lemons.

"Ami, I am ready. See, do I look okay?" Khushi marvels in the kitchen in her white and Purple casual attire. She has set her hair neatly. The perk of fresh hair-cut.
"Perfect, my dear. Now, you have to be extremely cautious of your words. That home is now your sister's home. And yes you people will stay and have breakfast with him. No rush from your words should be created. Let all eat in peace." Yasmeen blabbers the list of advises to her daughter.
"Okay, okay, got it." Khushi replies putting packed plates of salad into the bag.
"And listen..." Yasmeen holds Khushi's hand. "Specially ask Aakifah about her wellbeing, mm?"
"Don't worry, mom. We have just talked. She asked you to stay calm. She is very happy there." Khushi genuinely caresses her mother's worried cheek. The mother of a married daughter has the right to panic.
"I am so indebted of Allah (SWT) for this." Mrs. Yasmeen thanks the only One who deserves all the gratifications.
"Okay, now, Sadee move all these bags very carefully to the car." Shrugging the emotional chills, Yasmeen puts herself onto the work. It will take twenty minutes to reach with normal speed otherwise the gravy dishes might spill out.
"Drive carefully." Yousaf Hamdani advises his son who has a thin moustache grown. He is jumbling onto his words being excited that his trio kids are going to meet his dearest daughter. He is missing her terribly.
"Don't worry, Dad." Sadee assures his father and smoothens the black Audi A7 on road.
"I am so excited." Maheen chirps, looking around the stuffed car. Punjabi people are crazy for food and so is this little girl.

"Have a seat." Arnav pulls a chair for Khushi like a gentleman and she is helpless to accept the chivalrous treatment. Thankfully he has not attempted to slide her onto the chair next to him. Instead, he is sitting right opposite to her.
"Yasmeen has sent too much breakfast." Kiran objects the content.
"Mama was still thinking if something is left." Khushi bubbles, consoling Auntie and asking everyone to commence the breakfast affair. She is so damn famished.
