Crimson was a sweet girl. I had never met a demon before, but my expectation of them clearly didn't apply to Crimson.
When she took a shower, Ryan explained her situation to me. It was really depressing and we decided to help her out.
My clothes didn't fit Crimson, so she just wore the dress she walked in in. We fed her and then talked. After that, we left her in the living room.
Ryan didn't cry in public. And for all I know, he didn't cry. But tonight was different. He told me how he thought he heard his mom's voice. I knew it meant a lot to him. So I just let him unwind.
When I finally fell asleep, I dreamt.
