After showing our ID's to get into the bar we met up with the group. Ronnie said they would be in the basement tuning their guitars and practicing. It was an odd set up at the bar I thought to myself as we walked. You had to cross the whole building to get to the stairs to enter the basement, which led up to the stage. When we got down to the basement we saw the rest of Ronnies band, Falling In Reverse. Derek, Ron , Ryan and Jacky were all in the basement getting ready for the show. I ran up and gave Jacky a hug because he was the one I got along with best, and he sat there awkwardly with his arms down. Jacky was a very shy, humble person, who didnt talk much around other people, so I was used to it. While me and Jacky were attempting to converse, Derek was practicing some guitar rifts and Ron and Ryan were acting stupid, fighting over a bowl of chips. I looked around and noticed that Ronnie and Zoe were no where to be found. I figured they had slipped off to have sex in the bathroom, or smoke a cigarette since they've done that before a gig many times. Then suddenly, we heard yelling and Ronnie came through the door way. He looked deeply pissed off. All of the guys were in shock, but refused to say anything because they didn't wanna upset him more. I walked up to Ronnie who was sitting in a fold up chair in the corner of the room on his phone, still mad. "Ronnie...Are you ok? What's happened??" He just looked at me and grabbed me firmly by my arm and brought me to the back door where the bartenders would hang out on their breaks. "Ow Ronnie you're hurting me!" I yelped as he pushed open the door, forcing me through it. "I'm sorry, i didn't mean to hurt you its just I'm all worked up because of that stupid bitch Zoe...she broke up with me!" He shouted quieting down as he looked at the floor. I could see the pain and sorrow in his eyes, but I was still so shocked that they had broken up! I mean after all they were together 8 months and seemed pretty serious. "I'm so, so sorry Ron. I can't believe she did this to you. You don't deserve it, you're such a good person and that's a shitty move for her to make regardless of why. Speaking of which...did she tell you why?" I asked. He refused to look up at me as he mumbled "I told her about how I'm going on tour for 2 months, possibly more if the first half goes well and I said she could come with me. She just looked at me and said "I have better plans, I'm going to stay with this cute guy who I've been crushing on since highschool, then told me to fuck off. She basically cheated on me Jade!" I grabbed his face and made him look up at me. "Listen to me, you need to continue on with the show ok? I'll go find her and talk to her and figure out more okay? Please, don't be side tracked by all of this, do well...I'll take your car if you let me and I promise I'll try to be back to see you perform at least the last song ok?" He half smiled. "Your the best, you know that...and I have a special song just for you that I'm gonna sing. Oh and before you go..." He ran up and gave me a hug. I could feel his body warmth tingling all around my chest and back. I could smell his Cologne and it smelled like heaven. I was a little confused because he never once had hugged me. Ever. Even when we were kids. As he pulled away I told myself to not think much of it, after all he was still probably madly in love with Zoe. Not to mention they were fresh out of their break up, still holding on to hope. He gave me the keys to his car and told me to be careful. I set off on my journey to find, conquer Zoe, and make it back go the gig all in a meer hour.
