After Ronnie let me in, I went and sat in a chair in front of the granite bar in his kitchen. As I was stealing a few chips out of the bag he had left on the counter, I saw Ronnie come out of the bedroom and Zoe following after. "Oh Jade's here? great. Hi I guess..." "So babe you just had to bring her along huh?" Zoe shuddered while whispering to Ronnie, shooting me a dirty look as I'm sitting there with a mouth full of chips. Zoe and I have never gotten along well, but I guess not everyone is as friendly as you'd think. "Babe calm down, Jade is my best friend and I wanted her to come tonight." I hear Ronnie say. I was looking at my phone acting like I was paying no attention as I always do, but still vividly listening to the conversation. "Whatever I'll be in the car." Zoe yaps as she walks out of the house. "Sorry about that J, she can be a real bitch sometimes" I look up from my phone and shoot him a fake smile. "Its fine, i'm honestly used to it. At least she said hi this time. That's progress from last time." He chuckles and says "You always see the best in every situation. C'mon let's meet up with the boys." I follow behind Ronnie and we get into the car. I sat silently in the back on Tumblr while Zoe and Ronnie argued over directions. Eventually they got them right and we pulled up to the gig spot. It was at the local bar, which all of my friends would sneak into when we were in highschool, and steal bottles of vodka and beer and drink the night away partying. I was 18, and had little experience with alcohol so it would only be my first time entering the bar.
