I stuffed the card in my purse and went up to the counter.
"Ms. Richards, your usually?" Mr. Hans asked me. Yes I have been here so many times, hey what can I say I am a sucker for this bakery.
"Yes, Mr. Hans thanks" I said smiling warmly
He brought me out a yummy, warm, and sticky cinnamon roll. I paid and said my good byes and walked out. I got back to my office and finished up some work. After five I went home.
"Ring!!!" my phone shouted at me.
"Hello" I answered
"Hey!! Lily wanna come out for dinner and maybe a movie?" My best friend Megan yelled.
"Yeah sure is it just us?" I asked
"Um no I invited Adam to come along" Megan said
"Oh ok that's fine". Adam is my guy best friend its always Megan, Adam, and I ever since high school.
"Ok see you at five, bye"
I got in the shower and then got ready to go.
A half hour later I heard a knock on my door. As I opened the door Megan and Adam shouted
"Hey!"
"Hey! Guys" I grabbed my purse and we got into Adams car.
"So Adam how's Amy?" I asked
"Oh well we kinda broke up" He said
"Aww I am sorry, do you want to talk about it?"
"Nah I am good, how's work? He asked
"well Madeline had me working on a new article" I replied
