Chapter 4

On the way to the restaurant I told Adam and Megan all about the article that Madeline assigned me.
"Wow she really gave you that kind of assignment, I mean you at of all people" Megan said
"What do you mean me out of all people?" I asked
" Oh you know I didn't mean it in a mean way I just meant that she knows how focused you are on your career"
" She has a point" Adam said
" I know and now I have to find some real deal guy in two months, or else I lose my job" I said.
I feel so....ugh. Apparently my friends could tell.
"hey, hey don't over think lets just have a fun carefree time tonight ok?" Adam said glancing at me out of the corner of his eye
I smiled and looked out my window. What if I didn't find anyone? What if I got fired? What if since I got fired I had to move back home? Ok stop it I told myself, every thing will work out.
What if it doesn't?

After we got done eating we went to a nearby movie theater and saw the Avengers. Meg order and x-large popcorn ( Meg loves popcorn) we bought 3 med. drinks a coke, rootbeer, and a dr. Pepper.
I have to admit for a action show it's was pretty good and at some parts funny. After the movie Adam drove me home.
" Thanks guy I had a great time" I said with a big grin on my face.
" Yeah it was really fun, we need to do it more often" Megan said
" yep ok see ya later bye, good night" I replied
" Hey Lil, please stop stressin about the article, you'll find a guy your beutiful and amazing" Adam said smiling
I blushed at the last part of what Adam just said I gave them a quick smile and and a wave. I walked up the stairs to my pent house and put on my p.js and curled up in my big fluffy bed. I mean why do I need a man in my life? I have everything I need, a good stable home, a car and all my other needs. I have my friends and family to keep me company. This is going to be a long two months and with that last thought I quickly fell into a deep slumber.
