He was sitting at a small table looking out the window,drinking coffee, he didn't see me until i sat down across from him.
"Oh Hello you must be Lilly." He said. I loved how he said my name he added more L's. It sounded like Lilllllly.
I smiled "Yes and your Colin" I said more of a statement rather then a question.
"Yes, Would you like anything to drink or eat?" He asked waving Mr. Hans over
"Um sure i think i will take..."
" Good Morning Ms. Richards, would you like your usually?" Mr. Hans asked
" Um...." should i order my yummy,gooey,cinnimoney roll? Aw what the heck?
"Yes Mr.Hans i would thank you" I said smiling.
" May ask what your usually is?" Colin asked
" oh its a cinnimon roll with hot coco" I said looking out the window
"Hmm sounds good" He said smiling at my reflection
I looked at him.
" Ms. Richards, Your Cinnamon roll and hot coco" Mr. Hans said setting down my roll and drink
"Thank you"
I took a bite and closed my eyes. wow these get better and better, then i heard someone snickering. My eyes shot open.
"Are you laughing at me?" I said with food in my mouth still, i put my hand over my mouth
"No not at all you just look so um... whats a good word?" Colin said smiling trying not laugh harder
"Maybe like i died and went to heaven?" I asked laughing with him now
"Maybe you should share....."
"Heck no! you have your own money!"
I was to late he was already reaching over. I yanked the plate up into the air.
" your funny! You think that by putting that roll above your head will save you love? wrong!
He reached up and took the plate for me
" Sorry love i have longer arms" and with that he took a bite of MY Cinnamon roll
"mmmmmmm this is the best thing i have ever tasted!"
"Yep OK now give it back!"
"Juat one more bite"
I reached over trying to get it back and Colin was laughing the whole time when all of a sudden i was on the floor.
I was laughing so hard i was crying.
"Lilly?"
I opened my eyes and looked up at Adam.
" Oh hey!" I said
"Hey" Adam said helping me up and looking at Colin.
Colin stood up and held his hand out.
" Hello i am Colin, and you are?"
" Hey I am Adam, Lilly's best friend"
I looked at adam he never told anyone we were best friends.
"Oh well I am having a great time getting to know miss Lilly" Colin said
"Clearly" Adam said
"okkk well this has nice but i have to get going so I will call you later Colin"
"Oh me too! I am have to get to work" Colin said
Colin hugged me and kissed both my cheeks, I blushed.
"I will be waiting for the call love" Colin said walking out there door.
I looked at Adam.
"Really?" I said glaring at Adam and hitting his arm
"What? that hurt!" Adam yelled
ugh! Men! This is why i dont date, my overprotective best friend is just to over protective.
"Lilly! talk to me!" Adam said as we walked out
