Jaycee | Clark
"Clark? Oh my gods, I am so sorry about my brother. He just poofed out of nowhere and — gods, I am really sorry."
"Just...don't let your brother near the phone again. He scared the shit out of me. Literally."
"But still, even though that was hilarious, I am so sorry about his over-protectiveness."
"I undestand that. It's quite hard to keep boys away, especially if your sibling was a girl."
"How do you — ?"
"I have some siblings. My sister who is a bit younger than me and my brother that is the oldest. The other one is a bit younger than me and much older than my other sister. In short, I was the one in the middle along with my other sister. Me and my brother always protected our little sister from boys and flirting since she was still a bit too young for stuff like that. Unfortunately, she's quite stubborn about it."
"What was she like? Your youngest sister?"
"She was like you."
"Was?"
"Yeah. Was."
"Oh no. Clark, I-I didn't mean to — "
"No, no. That's alright. I moved on."
"Gods, I fucked up, didn't I? I didn't really mean to ask that, Clark."
"I know. Just...don't beat yourself to it. We all make mistakes somehow."
"Thanks Superman. Or should I say, Leo Valdez?"
"So, you noticed?"
"Of course, I did. You've been calling me 'mi princesa' for a bit now. When you first called me that, I thought you were just trying to speak spanish. But when I remembered you calling me Per-Cee, I already knew you're trying to be Leo."
"Was it that obvious? Damn, I didn't know."
"Not really. It took me a while to figure it out."
"Did it work though?"
"Yup. Just a bit."
"Yes! It worked! I knew it!"
"Lol. Anyways, my food awaits and I'm quite starving. I'll call you tomorrow, alright?"
"Sure. I'll be waiting mi princesa."
"See you soon."
