January 1st, year 2018.
This day supposed to be a special day, but it felt like a normal day to me. Since there are only four people in our house, my two aunts, my brother and I, we didn't really do much last January first, we just watched some fireworks on our balcony and had our Media Noche after.
I don't know why I feel this way, but I didn't feel the excitement of the New Year. After we ate, I just went straight to bed and called my mom who is in California, and greeted her a Happy New Year, and after that, I just watched animè until 5 a.m. and went to sleep at 6 a.m.
We spent our New Year's day on our relatives' condominium in Mandaluyong with my Aunt. When we got there, of course they were like happy to see us, and we greeted them a Happy New Year and stuff. And then, we talked about different stuff, watched movies, played with their baby, who we, my aunt and I, just met. Seems normal, but a we somehow had a good New Year's day, I guess.
